Executive Order No. 40/2021 published in the Macao Special Administrative Region Communiqué shows that Ho Iat Seng appoints Ma Zhicheng, Qiu Tingbiao, Pang Chuan , Hu Zujie, Gao Jinhui, Chen Haoxing, and Zhang Jianzhong as members of the 7th Legislative Council of the Macao Special Administrative Region in accordance with the relevant provisions of the "Basic Law of the Macao Special Administrative Region" and the "Election System of the Legislative Council of the Macao Special Administrative Region".
The 7th Legislative Council election of the Macao Special Administrative Region was held on the 12th. The preliminary voting statistics were announced in the early morning of the 13th, resulting in 14 direct election seats and 12 inter-elected election seats. The results of the election were announced on the 14th. The results of the election of 14 directly elected members of parliament and 12 inter-elected members of parliament after the total accounting remain unchanged. In addition to the seven appointed members announced this time, all 33 members of the 7th Legislative Council were selected.
The term of office of the 7th Legislative Council of the Macao Special Administrative Region will begin in October 2021, with a term of 4 years.
