On the eve of the 23rd anniversary of the "921 earthquake", the Taitung 6.8 earthquake made many people worried about whether there would be a strong earthquake. Wang Zhonghe, a concurrent researcher at the Institute of Earth, Taiwan's " Chinese Academy of Research and Research, said that it is approaching the cycle of strong earthquakes. It is a warning that the number of earthquakes is abnormally low or high. Taiwan has indeed entered a high-risk period of strong earthquakes. However, some scholars believe that the changes in earthquake activity can be seen from the faults, but it does not mean that Taiwan has entered the seismic active period as a whole.
