1

"Special price ticket purchase" and "flight cancellation" Beware of the scam

scammers often use "special price" as bait. in the form of text messages to mobile phone users that "special price air tickets and train tickets are sold during the National Day" period. Once the victim believes in contact with it, he will trick the victim into transferring the money into a private account on the grounds that the special price tickets are exclusive to internal employees and others cannot buy it, so as to commit fraud. After illegally obtaining the victim's ticket booking information, the criminals will send flights and trains to the victim to change the short message. On the grounds of providing "refunds and changes", gradually introduces the victim into the fraud trap and requires the victim to transfer and remit money multiple times to commit fraud.

Police reminder: When receiving similar text messages, should be verified and confirmed through multiple channels such as the customer service telephone number of the airline or railway department, official website, etc. Do not blindly believe in information of unknown origin, and do not dial the strange number provided in the text messages and transfer money according to the other party's requirements.

2

"High-speed ETC deactivate" is false information

During the holidays, you may receive "Your vehicle has been banned from elevated access" "Your ETC card is disabled" SMS . If you click on the link and find that the jump page is very similar to the official web page, you mistakenly think that there is really something wrong with your vehicle or ETC card, so fills in the bank card number, reserved mobile phone number, password and other information according to the prompts on the page . Then, you will receive the information that the money sent by the bank is transferred. This kind of fraud is extremely confusing, so citizens are wary.

Police reminder: If you encounter any questions about vehicle business, you can call the traffic safety service hotline in time to check and verify to confirm whether there are any abnormalities. ETC issues must be handled through the official ETC channel, and must not be handled through text messages, phone calls, or web links of unknown origin.

National Day shopping discounts? Be careful when it is true or false

criminals establish trading websites similar to regular online stores, and use the banner of "Many discounts on National Day and good benefits" to lure shopping users to register and log in on fake trading platforms. enters personal account, password and other information to purchase goods. After the user operates the relevant process, the final result is "both people and money".

The epidemic is empty, and the "epidemic" fraud

fraud impersonated the "Epidemic Prevention and Control Center" or the "Health Commission" staff, lying that the health code or test report is abnormal in the epidemic investigation. If you have not been to medium- and high-risk areas and have not been exposed to risky people, will send a "Trojan link" on the grounds that "the system is faulty, and identity information needs to be re-verified". will send a "Trojan link" or ask you to download an unknown APP, and lied that you have performed health code verification and other operations on it.

Police reminder: When conducting epidemic investigation ( epidemiological investigation ), the epidemic prevention staff will not ask for personal privacy information that is not related to epidemic prevention and control, will not send any link or QR code, and will not ask the epidemic investigation personnel to join the QQ group or WeChat group for any reason. Once you encounter such a situation, be vigilant and do not believe it easily.

In order to protect the interests of my friends, the editor has compiled 10 anti-fraud tips here. Friends must remember it and don’t let bad people succeed!

: Someone wants a "verification code". Don't give

verification code is very common, but it is not a simple number, it represents identity verification! Do not provide verification code with unknown origin and unknown information to others , especially not to send it to unfamiliar numbers. Once the criminals learn the verification code, the consequences will be unimaginable!

: SMS with links, don’t click

Friends should remember: link is a pit! Although there are also secure links sent by banks and other institutions in mobile phone text messages, now fake base stations and number change software have just died again and again. Scammers always have various ways to disguise themselves. Many relatives find it difficult to distinguish the authenticity through the other party's short signal code, text message content, link form, etc., so it is recommended that friends not click on any links that come with the text message to prevent Trojan viruses.

: The phone does not display the number, don’t answer

At present, any government, enterprise, bank, operator and other institutions have official phone calls. The "no display number" basically comes from the Internet phone, either it is an advertisement or a fraud. In short, just hang up directly when you see a call from "no display number".

: Ask you for your bank card number, don’t talk about

No matter in phone, text messages, QQ chats, or WeChat conversations, you will never mention bank card number, password, ID number, medical insurance card number and other information, so as not to be used by fraudsters. Even if you chat with well-known numbers and WeChat accounts, be careful. What if your friend gets stolen?...

: Some numbers can be called to verify the authenticity

Scammers use virtual number change software to imitate the official customer service of operators and banks to call you. Recently, criminals have used the number change platform to impersonate "China Mobile International Roaming Service Hotline 13800100186" to defraud user information. In this case, friends can hang up, confirm the service hotline, and then actively call the relevant number (do not call back directly), and connect to the real customer service hotline and ask carefully about the situation.

: Money can only be in and out, but not out,

Any behavior that requires payment or remittance must be suspected! Don't believe that the child is hospitalized, if you are accused of paying a deposit, etc. The police suggested that even if you really need to remit money, it is best to go to the offline bank counter to handle the matter, describe the whole story to the bank counter staff, and ask for more opinions.

: The person who calls out your name is not necessarily an acquaintance

Scammers can grasp some of the user's personal information through illegal behavior and use this as evidence to deceive the trust of their friends. Remember to be careful at this time and never trust strangers easily. Even if the phone number is from a friend's family, don't believe it easily if you don't communicate in person.

: Develop the habit of verifying websites and website domain names

Do not trust those phishing websites that look exactly like the official website. They may not only get infected with viruses, but also be cheated of money. Dear friends, you must develop the habit of verifying the website domain name and website address.

: Don’t believe that pie falls from the sky

Scammers often use the latest current affairs hot topics to design scam content, and use winning information to lure users, such as vaccine compensation, children’s tuition refunds, overseas shopping tax refunds, winning prizes on popular TV programs, express compensation for freight, shopping compensation, etc. are often used by scammers. Be sure to be alert to such pies that fall from the sky, and don’t mistake for to fall into the trap!
