After halfway during the National Day holiday, the traffic in the jurisdiction of Hangzhou Expressway Traffic Police is stable and orderly. Today (October 4), there are rebate traffic on highways in Hangzhou. Hangzhou Expressway Traffic Police expects that there will be a large return traffic on October 5 and October 6. Several important highways leaving the city are queuing and slowing down in Hangzhou, such as the Jinhua direction of G60 Hangzhou-Jinqu Expressway, the Jinhua direction of G2504 Hangzhou Ring Expressway, the two-way direction of G92 Hangzhou-Ningbo Expressway, the two-way direction of S43 Ring West Double Route to G25 Hangzhou-Qianqian Expressway, and the Changxing direction of S14 Hangzhou-Changhai Expressway are all close to saturation, and some sections have queuing and slowing down in line, especially the Lin'an section of G56 Hangzhou-Hui Expressway and the Jiande section of G25 Hangzhou-Xinjing Expressway continue to slow down, almost in conjunction with the early traffic at around 5 a.m. the next day. On the first day of the holiday, the most severe slowdown G56 Hangzhou-Hui Expressway and the Jiande section of the G25 Hangzhou-Xinjing Expressway resumed normal traffic at around 18:45 and around 21:00.
Hangzhou Expressway Traffic Police predicts that as the tail of the holiday approaches, the "tidal phenomenon" will lead to the return peak of the entry direction of the above points.
Affected by the large return flow, Hangzhou Hui Expressway Hangzhou Xihe Yuhang Toll Station, Hangzhou Ningbo Expressway Xiaoshan City and Xinxiaoshan Toll Station, Hangzhou Jinqu Expressway Xinjie and Xiaoshan East Toll Station, Hangzhou Changyi Expressway Zijingang Toll Station, Hangzhou Xinjing Expressway Hangzhou South Toll Station, Hangzhou Ningbo Expressway Nanzhuang Douhe Renhe Toll Station, Lianhang Expressway Chongxian Hetangqi Toll Station, Hangzhou Pu Expressway Hangzhou North Helinping East Toll Station, Shanghai-Hangzhou Ningbo Expressway New Hangzhou Toll Station, Hangzhou Ring Expressway Xiasha and Qiaosidong Toll Station are prone to queuing and slowing down or even backflowing the main line. Drivers and passengers try to choose to avoid it.
Hangzhou Expressway Traffic Police reminds: When you encounter a slow queuing, it is recommended to get off the expressway at the nearby toll station and change to the local road. Update the navigation equipment in time before traveling and make reasonable detours according to navigation prompts. For short trips, choose to detour the ground road.
In addition, due to short-distance self-driving trips, the traffic flow back to the city in the afternoon is relatively large, especially the traffic flow in Hangzhou direction, Hangzhou Xinjing Expressway, and Changxing direction of Hangzhou Changyi Expressway is significantly increased from 15:00 to 19:00.

Hangzhou Expressway Traffic Police reminds: Plan the route in advance for travel, try to avoid peak travel periods, return vehicles can choose to return to Hangzhou in advance, scientifically and reasonably detour local roads, avoid interweaving with the return traffic, reduce driving safety hazards, and focus on four aspects.
1. Pay attention to weather changes and keep warm. According to the forecast of the meteorological department, due to the influence of cold air, the temperature in our province will drop significantly starting from this afternoon (4th). Starting this afternoon, there will be showers from north to south, with local thunderstorms; from 5 to 7, it will be cloudy and there will be light showers in some areas. When driving on rainy days, remember to "reduce speed, control distance, and highlight tail".
2. Pay attention to the free pass time to ensure safety. This year's National Day holiday is free to 24:00 on October 7 (Friday). Vehicles that are still driving on the highway before the free time are about to end, it is recommended to choose the nearest toll station to drive off the highway based on their actual location and time to avoid safety accidents caused by rushing or speeding.
3. Drive cautiously and drive civilizedly.When driving at high speed, you must maintain a necessary safe distance from the vehicle in front, and drive carefully through tunnel entrance and exit ramps and highway exit ramps.
