Chapter 1 Basic information of the school

For graduates who meet the degree awarding criteria, a bachelor's degree is awarded and a degree certificate is issued.

Article 3 Nankai University is a comprehensive and research-oriented national key university directly under the Ministry of Education. It is one of the first universities included in the national key construction of "211 Project", "985 Project" and "Double First-Class". The superior department is the Ministry of Education.
Article 4 Nankai University has a complete education system to train senior talents at all levels, including bachelor's, master's, doctoral and postdoctoral students.
Chapter 2 Admissions Plan
Article 5 With the approval of the Ministry of Education, Nankai University plans to recruit 4,100 undergraduate students in 2019, and will fully implement major enrollment. Based on the national social development and economic development needs, school management conditions, and in accordance with the principle of "optimizing the student source structure and promoting regional balance", Nankai University has prepared the 2019 provincial and major enrollment plan based on the number of enrollment plans in previous years, and combined with the student source situation in various places and the employment situation of graduates in recent years.
school uses 1% of the total enrollment plan as a reservation plan, mainly for the quality of students and the solution to the admission of candidates with the same score.
Article 6 Admissions Scope: Undergraduate students are enrolled nationwide (including Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan). All enrollment plans and charging standards are announced to the public by the admissions departments of each province (municipalities directly under the central government, autonomous region). Chapter 3 Organizational Structure
Article 7 Nankai University established the Nankai University Undergraduate Admissions Committee in accordance with the relevant regulations of the Ministry of Education. The Undergraduate Admissions Committee reviews the school’s enrollment plan and policies, puts forward opinions and suggestions on undergraduate enrollment work, and supervises and inspects the entire process of various enrollment work.
School has set up a leading group for undergraduate enrollment, which is responsible for formulating undergraduate enrollment policies, determining enrollment scale and enrollment plans by province and major, and discussing and deciding major matters of undergraduate enrollment.
Article 8 The Nankai University Undergraduate Admissions Office, as a permanent institution for undergraduate admissions work at Nankai University, is responsible for the daily work of undergraduate admissions under the leadership of the Undergraduate Admissions Committee and the Undergraduate Admissions Leading Group.
Article 9 Nankai University’s undergraduate enrollment work strictly implements the various regulations of the Ministry of Education and is carried out under the supervision of the school supervision department.
Chapter 4 Admission Principles
Article 10 Nankai University implements the admission policies and relevant regulations formulated by the Ministry of Education and the admission departments of various provinces (municipalities and autonomous regions), implements the principle of "comprehensive assessment of morality, intelligence and physical fitness, and admission based on the moral and physical fitness test scores of the candidates, compete fairly and receive fairly.
Article 11 Nankai University determines the number of transfer and the admission score line based on the enrollment plan of each province (municipalities directly under the central government, autonomous region). The transfer rate generally does not exceed 120%. According to the batches of parallel voluntary filings in , the transfer rate generally does not exceed 105%. When determining the number of transfers and admission scores, Nankai University recognizes the national policy bonus points approved by the Ministry of Education and the education authorities of each province (municipalities directly under the Central Government, autonomous region) when determining the number of transfers and admission scores, but does not consider the bonus points when arranging majors, and only arranges majors based on the actual college entrance examination scores (excluding additional points).
Article 12 According to the batches of non-parallel voluntary filing, if the number of candidates for the first choice of Nankai University above the same batch control score line is less than the number of admission plans, Nankai University will recruit non-first voluntary candidates. According to the batches of parallel volunteer filing, unfinished plans will collect volunteers. If the volunteer recruitment is still insufficient, the remaining plans will be transferred to other provinces with good student quality to complete the enrollment plan.
Article 13 Candidates who do not accept applications for Nankai University are not admitted.
Article 14 Nankai University arranges majors according to the principle of priority of total scores according to the candidates' actual college entrance examination scores (excluding additional points) and application applications. There is no difference in scores between the volunteers of each major. The specific operation is to queue up candidates within the admission range from high to low. When the score does not reach the first major admission score line, it depends on whether the second major admission score line has been reached, and so on until the last major admission plan is admitted. Candidates whose scores do not meet the professional application you have applied for and who do not obey professional adjustment will be rejected.
Article 15 If the total score of the college entrance examination is the same (excluding additional points), candidates with high overall scores in Chinese, mathematics and foreign languages will be given priority when arranging majors. If the total scores of Chinese, mathematics and foreign languages are given priority. The liberal arts majors are arranged according to the scores of Chinese, mathematics, and foreign language scores, and the science majors are arranged according to the scores of mathematics, Chinese, and foreign language scores.
Article 16: Jiangsu candidates shall implement the ordering of scores first and then grades. The minimum grade requirement for the selected subjects of academic level test is AB+, the minimum grade requirement for the selected subjects of independent enrollment and college special enrollment is B+B+, the minimum grade requirement for the selected subjects of high-level art troupes is BB, and the relevant regulations for the selected subjects of high-level sports teams and art majors shall be implemented for the selected subjects of , Jiangsu Provincial Education Examination Institute .
. The care scores are not considered when accepting majors for Jiangsu candidates. If the scores are the same, candidates with high grades in the selected subjects will be given priority. If the scores and the selected subjects are the same, candidates with high grades in the required subjects will be given priority. The use of selected subjects and required subjects are sorted by the gold medal list, that is, sorted by the number of A+. If the number of A+ is the same, then look at the number of A+, and so on.
Article 17 For candidates in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, the principle of priority admission is adopted.
Article 18 For Tianjin candidates, if the college entrance examination scores are the same (excluding additional points), candidates with better scores in high school academic achievement test will be given priority when arranging majors. The use of high school academic achievement test scores is sorted by the gold medal list, that is, sorted by the number of A. If the number of A is the same, then look at the number of B, and so on. If the high school academic achievement test scores are the same, they will be implemented in accordance with Article 15 of this Articles of Association.
Article 19 For candidates in Zhejiang and Shanghai, the admission rules formulated by the local education administrative department shall be implemented. The candidates’ elective subjects must meet the scope requirements of the professional elective subjects announced by our school, otherwise they will be rejected. If the total score of the college entrance examination is the same (excluding additional points), the major will be arranged based on the local provincial ranking rules for the same score.
Article 20 Nankai University negotiates with relevant provincial admissions offices to arrange for admission in advance batches. The relevant majors shall be subject to the announcement of relevant provincial admissions offices. Students admitted to the early batch have a major and major transfer scope limited to related majors in the early batch. They can minor in other majors or take a double degree.
Article 21 Nankai University’s admissions for students, independent enrollment, special enrollment for colleges and universities, high-level art troupes, high-level sports team enrollment, art enrollment, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan enrollment work is carried out based on the regulations of the Ministry of Education, provincial (municipalities, autonomous regions), the admission brochure for relevant categories of our school this year, the public announcement of majors and preferential scores of the Sunshine College Entrance Examination Platform and the agreement signed between candidates and schools.
Article 22 Candidates who are admitted according to the admission methods for foreign language admissions and art majors shall not transfer to ordinary majors after admission.
Article 23 For provinces that have merged undergraduate batches, our school will carry out admission work based on the independent enrollment, high-level art troupes, and high-level sports team reference admission control scores designated by provincial admissions examination institutions.
Article 24 The admissions of ethnic classes, high school classes in mainland Xinjiang, Tibet classes in mainland China and national special projects shall be carried out in accordance with relevant documents of the Ministry of Education.
Article 25 When filling out the relevant major application for teaching using English textbooks, candidates of non-English languages should carefully consider the special requirements for English proficiency of the major. Nankai University’s foreign language and literature major requires English language candidates.
Article 26 All majors in the medical school can only admit candidates who fill in their major applications.
Article 27 The physical examination standards shall be implemented in accordance with the "Guiding Opinions on the Physical Examination of Ordinary Higher Education Institutions" issued by the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Health, and the China Federation of Disabled Persons.
Article 28 When freshmen register, Nankai University conducts a preliminary review of the admission qualifications of freshmen and reviews the admission procedures for those who pass the examination; if the examination finds that the admission notices, candidate information and other supporting materials of freshmen are inconsistent with their actual situation, or there are other circumstances that violate the national admissions examination regulations, the admission qualification shall be cancelled. After the freshmen enter school, Nankai University will conduct a comprehensive review within 3 months in accordance with the national enrollment regulations. If the students are found to have committed fraud, favoritism, etc. during the review, they will be determined to be unqualified in the review and their academic status will be cancelled; if the circumstances are serious, they will be handed over to the relevant departments for investigation and handling.
Article 29 Nankai University shall establish scholarships, national student loans, work-study assistance, tuition fee reductions, temporary hardship subsidies and other funding measures in accordance with relevant regulations to help students in financial difficulties complete their studies.
After the admission work of each province (municipalities directly under the central government, autonomous region) is completed, the admission results will be announced on the Nankai University undergraduate admissions website in a timely manner, and candidates can check it online.
Appendix
Article 30 According to the spirit of relevant documents of the country and Tianjin, the tuition standards for undergraduate majors are: 5,800 yuan/year for first and second grades of software engineering majors, 12,000 yuan/year for third and fourth grades; 15,000 yuan/year for painting majors, and 12,000 yuan/year for visual communication design and environmental design majors; 12,000 yuan/year for urban management majors; 3,000 yuan/year for study courses in the University of Glasgow, UK in the third academic year, and students will take care of their own overseas expenses, of which the tuition fee is about 10,000 pounds; tuition fees for other majors are 5,200-6,200 yuan/year. If the state and Tianjin adjust the charging standards, the new regulations will be implemented. Accommodation fees are generally 700-1200 yuan per year depending on the accommodation conditions.
Article 31 This charter applies to the 2019 undergraduate enrollment of Nankai University and will come into effect on the date of its promulgation.
Article 32 After this charter is promulgated, if the college entrance examination enrollment policies in some provinces are adjusted, Nankai University will formulate corresponding admission policies and announce them separately.
Article 33 This charter is interpreted by the "Nankai University Admissions Office".
