On December 3, Upstream News reporters learned from Chongqing Foreign Construction Group that the group and the Liberian Public Works Department signed a general contract for the design and construction of the 39-kilometer road in Ganta-Sagripe, with a total amount of US$30.36 million.

It is understood that the road project is a World Bank management project. After completion, it will open up an international channel from Liberia to neighboring Guinea, benefiting hundreds of thousands of residents along the road.

This marks that Chongqing Foreign Construction Group will deepen its efforts in the Liberian engineering market and implement project contracts to exceed US$200 million.

According to reports, the construction road of the project is 39 kilometers long and the contract period is 22 months. The project funding source is the Liberian Road Fund, located in the Southeast Liberian Corridor. It is an important transportation hub for Liberia to Guinea and plays a very important role in the country's economic development. After the completion of the

project, it will greatly improve the transportation conditions from Ganta to Tabeta, improve the infrastructure level in the southeastern Liberia region, effectively promote the economic development of this region, and benefit hundreds of thousands of Liberian residents along the road.

Statistics show that Chongqing Foreign Construction Group has been deeply engaged in Liberia for more than 10 years and has successfully implemented the Red Light District-Banga 180-kilometer road project and the Monrovia Bay Bridge in the local area, with a total contract amount of more than US$200 million.
