Lamborghini launched Huracan since then, and the Italian car company has added many high-performance models to its product lineup. The most interesting one is the Lamborghini Huracan EVO Spyder. The EVO Spyder offers an overloaded sensory experience with outstanding performance, open-air driving and the roar that can scare kids – something we personally experienced while spending a week with the beast during the annual Monterey Car Week in late August.

Lamborghini provides us with the 2022 Huracan EVO Spyder RWD coated with Blu Astraeus. The Huracan has a number of optional accessories including a smartphone interface, sports seats, 20-inch forged aluminum wheels and a Sensonum premium sound system, with a suggested retail price of $288,411. Huracan EVO Spyder's competitors include the Ferrari F8 Spider, McLaren 720S Spider, Audi R8 Spyder, Porsche 911 Turbo S Cabriolet and Maserati MC20 Cielo.

Lamborghini launched the EVO Spyder to the world at the 2019 Geneva Motor Show, and a year later the rear-wheel drive variant appeared, which is the configuration of the car we spent several days driving. Powered by slightly less than all-wheel drive EVO, RWD is known as a suitable driving car and requires more skills to properly screw out on the road or track.

Monterey Auto Week—an annual car celebration culminated with the Pebble Beach Auto Show—has brought countless compelling vehicles to California , from rare classic models to extreme supercars. Even with all kinds of special vehicles driving on the Monterrey Peninsula, Huracan never caught the attention. Wherever we go, we give a thumbs up, and as we pass by, waves, cats, and phones appear immediately for quick photos.

Huracan EVO Spyder, it is obvious that this is very special. The car sat very low and had a wide posture. The hood tilts sharply down to a point in front, complementing the steep tilt of the windshield. The integrated LED headlights do not damage lines, and the large air intake with low front splitter adds an aggressive look.

is perhaps our favorite Huracan view, the stylish outline exudes pure exotic sports car . The hood and windshield seem to form a line of acute angles that flows smoothly to the rear of the vehicle – the top up or down lines look great. Large air intakes in front of the rear wheels help keep the large V10 engine cooler, and the stylish 20-inch wheels make the look even more perfect. The rear end of

Huracan uses an integrated spoiler and stylish LED taillights that match the appearance of the headlights. The mesh rear surface allows heat to escape from the engine compartment , and the rear diffuser controls the air flowing from under the car. The two large exhaust pipes are integrated and located in the center, which looks like they should be spitting fire.

Huracan's cockpit design is driver-centric, and all controls are easy to use. Strangely, the turn signal and wiper controls are placed directly on the steering wheel, but soon get used to these unusual positions. Power windows, stability control and other features operate through stylish switches located on top of the central stack, while the 8.4-inch infotainment screen provides access to audio, communication, navigation and climate control. While the display is intuitive, most daily features such as volume, tuning and temperature adjustment have at least one layer in the menu, which is a bit frustrating to use.

Lamborghini Huracan EVO Spyder RWD's large digital driver display is highly configurable and easy to set up. We like the large center focus tachometer / speedometer .

You can select three different driving modes from the ANIMA button at the bottom of the steering wheel. STRADA minimizes wheel slip and manages torque for maximum stability. The SPORT allows the rear wheels to slide a little, but will stabilize the car if the angle increases too quickly. This mode (our favorite) offers faster shifts and significantly increases the volume of the exhaust tone. This Huracan variant of

This Huracan variant has a variety of seat styles and decorative options. The test vehicle was equipped with sports seats with Nero Ade leather trim. Although the seats are not fully adjustable, they provide excellent support and a tight fit thanks to the large cushion and integrated headrests. The "Huracan EVO" sewn to the seat back feels great. One of our favorite features on

Huracan has always been the Start button. The button is located on the center console and its cover is similar to the missile launch button in the fighter . Release the lid, press the button, and the rocket is ready. The powered soft top of the

Lamborghini Huracan EVO Spyder RWD adds very little weight, and - just like the vehicle itself - it runs quickly. Select the button on the center console and the top can drop in 17 seconds as it hides under the rear deck. The rear window can be operated independently through the top or down to provide additional airflow while also allowing the V10's greedy roar into the cabin. The top can be raised or lowered at speeds up to 31 mph – a convenient feature that owners can take advantage of when the weather suddenly gets bad.

utility is not a word that is usually associated with Lamborghini Huracan. However, during our drive around Monterrey , there is plenty of room to transport cameras and computer equipment. The front is a very spacious trunk (front suitcase). The trunk can hold a backpack, tripod and camera bag, and there is extra space. This car can easily handle an overnight bag for a quick adventure on the shore. The huge sound and incredible acceleration of the

Lamborghini Huracan EVO Spyder RWD comes from a naturally aspirated 5.2-liter V10 engine located behind the cabin, producing 610 horsepower and 413 lb-ft of torque. Power is transferred to the rear wheels through a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission. For those looking for a better driving experience, shifting gears can be done with the large paddles behind the steering wheel, although we found that the gearbox works well in the automatic when driving in traffic.

Not surprisingly, Huracan EVO provides some impressive performance data. The EVO will reach 62 mph in 3.5 seconds and 124 mph in 9.6 seconds, and will eventually exceed 200 mph, giving the concept of wind blowing through hair a whole new look.

It is true that we have some opportunities to push Huracan hard, but it has not disappointed. The combination of incredible acceleration with instant shifts, roaring exhaust and storm is an experience we’d love to repeat every day. Whether it’s trying to keep the speed in double digits on a long and straight road or winding down some desolate roads on the Monterey Peninsula, Huracan makes the heart beat faster. With its wide high-performance rubber, ultra-sensitive steering and seemingly unlimited power, the Huracan is simply too fun on the twists and turns – even if it’s far from the limits of this supercar.

Lamborghini Huracan EVO Spyder RWD's cabin is top-down, with windows facing upwards, keeping it very civilized. The pleasant engine sound is brought into the cabin, although wind noise and jitter are almost impossible to detect, making it possible to have normal conversations at high speeds.

Huracan Of course, it is not a vehicle built to leave the sidewalk, but sometimes daily driving requires these things. While participating in one of the many events at the Pebble Beach Competition, we found that the only available parking space was in the woods. Select the switch on the dash that lifts the front end a few inches and we drove into the woods. Apart from the low gap on the ground, Rambo gave us no worries, and in fact it looked chic and casual while sitting under the tree.

We soon discovered that driving a car like Lamborghini Huracan will attract special attention. After arriving at the quail's racing party (celebration of cars and food), we were immediately directed to the front row next to other participating sports cars.

Driving Huracan The biggest problem around towns and in traffic may be visibility—or lack of visibility. Since passengers sit in front of the low engine in the car, the engine is located behind the cabin, the view of the rearview mirror is quite limited; however, the rearview camera is very helpful when reversing or parking. At the same time, it is difficult to determine the position of the front fender, which makes maneuvering in a small space very nerve-wracking. Of course, this is not a problem on open roads, but it does reduce the ability of owners to use Huracan every day.

Speaking of extreme sports cars, nothing can compare to Lamborghini. The Huracan EVO offers amazing performance and excellent driving pleasure while keeping it gentle enough for everyday use. The styling draws attention—even those who are not interested in cars—we still dream about making a wonderful sound from the exhaust. Of course there are other cars with similar specifications, but the Huracan look not only screams the ultimate performance—it screams Lamborghini.
