There were 310 new local asymptomatic infections in , including 37 cases of Jining, 6 cases were detected at centralized isolation points (including 4 people entering Shandong from the province) and 1 case was detected at home medical observation; 2 cases in Dezhou, 31 cases were detected at centralized isolation points; 31 cases were detected at centralized isolation points. No new confirmed cases of imported cases. Two new asymptomatic infections imported from abroad were added, both in , Qingdao , imported from Germany and South Korea respectively.

From 0:00 to 24:00 on October 2, 2022, 4 local confirmed cases in the province were discharged from hospital, all in Qingdao. 29 local asymptomatic infections were released from medical observation, including 10 in Jining, 8 in Qingdao, 6 in Heze, 4 in Linyi, and 1 in Jinan. No confirmed cases imported from abroad were discharged from hospital in the province. Two cases of asymptomatic infections imported from abroad were released from medical observation, including 1 in Qingdao and 31 in Yantai.
