When Zhang Lianyun's second brother unfortunately died of typhoid fever, he was less than seventeen years old. After his father rushed home, he cried with the items he used during his lifetime. The pain of losing his son was engraved into his heart. He often felt guilty and felt that he had not taken good care of the children.
At that time, although Zhang Zizhong was serious about right and wrong, he also changed a lot in life. As long as he came back with time, he would ask everyone about his homework and studies.
Later, when the battle between Xuzhou ended, Zhang Zizhong wrote a letter to Zhang Ziming: If I don’t die for one day, I will do my duty to kill the enemy in one day.
He became more and more fierce in his subsequent battles, and led his troops to severely damage the Japanese army many times. When Zhang Zizhong passed away, Zhang Lianyun was not yet seventeen years old. She only knew that her father was hit by seven bullets at that time.
