"Confucian Cang" (Essence Editing) (II) was approved by the National Publishing Fund in 2017, and all publications were completed in August 2020. It was finally completed 80 volumes (binding into 93 volumes), with a total of 62.235 million words. The project is large in scale and well organized. During the compilation process, it strictly follows the principle of selecting the best and good in the basic and proofreading. It makes a lot of use of old, full and exquisite books that predecessors have not used, and has achieved results for some predecessors. Based on the original compilation, based on the "Confucian Cang", it further improves the selection of basic and proofreading of the entire book in accordance with the "Confucian Cang", and achieves the quality of the "Confucian Cang" and provides a large number of Confucian document compilation books with more complete content, more refined text, and easy to read and use. The documents included in the "Confucian Cang" have gradually become a new classic version of the academic community that can be trusted and cited.
The Department of Chinese and Foreign Physics Premium Books (II) was approved by the National Publishing Fund in 2018, and completed all publications in November 2020, and finally completed 25 volumes, with a total of 11.384 million words. The project takes domestic and international first-class academic level as the topic selection criteria. The publication content involves many branches and related disciplines of physics, displays the cutting-edge level of physics research in my country, introduces new progress in physics research abroad, provides a huge boost for the further development of physics research in my country, and establishes a new channel for communication between China and the world physics community. From 2017, the National Publishing Fund project "Confucian Cang" (Essence Editing) (Part 2) was officially launched. By August 2020, all the projects will be edited and published. First, it is difficult to review and proofread. The documents included in "Confucian Zang" are huge in scale, with a wide range of content, and the documents span are large. The manuscripts have great differences in terms of text (form, sound, and meaning), which has high requirements for the editor's knowledge and concentration. Moreover, many basic books are in absurd and unclear situations, and there are a large number of ancient and different characters in the manuscript. Editors need to use reference books and related search tools to solve the problem at any time. In particular, many document versions have complex origins and difficult proofreading. It takes a lot of time to make choices and right and wrong judgments of proofreading notes. After the manuscript is checked by the proofreader, reviewer, responsible editor, and responsible editor, there are quite a lot of traces of changes in the layout.
