When he was young, Liu Shuangfa had a history of drug use. After coming out of drug rehabilitation center in 2015, he quit for a while, and he did not relapse again, and his life was on the right track. At that time, he was in the decoration business and earned more than 100,000 yuan in the first year of his starting life. He also reached the point of discussing marriage with his girlfriend. "I have some money around me, and I am ready to get married, and I am full of hope for life."
One day in 2016, he learned that a friend who had not been in contact for many years had AIDS. At first he didn't care, but later he became more and more worried about it - he had used a syringe with that friend once or twice. With a responsible attitude towards his girlfriend, he went to Shaoyang Municipal Center for Disease Control and Prevention.
Liu Shuangfa said that when he was drawing blood for the first time, the staff asked him to get the result one week later, but a week later, the staff did not report it to him, but instead asked him to get the blood again. He felt a little sad at the time, "Maybe (having AIDS) is definitely the same." As expected, when he went to get the result again, "he got a positive result." Liu Shuangfa said.
In fact, he had already made mental preparations the week before. He felt that his life was over and he could only wait for death, but he was still very dazed when he got the report. Liu Shuangfa said that after learning that he was diagnosed with AIDS, he searched online for how long AIDS patients can live. The results were more than ten years. He thought that even if he could live for more than ten years, he would die anyway, and it would be meaningless. He no longer fell in love, "I don't want to harm others."
he rarely mentions it on his own, but many people soon knew that he had AIDS and that his friends and colleagues were drifting away from him. He returned to the circle of drug users and AIDS patients.
For a long time, it was difficult for him to fall asleep. He started to fall asleep at 12 o'clock at night, but not yet asleep at three or four o'clock. He got up late after falling asleep and got up at 12 o'clock at noon. During the day, he had to go out and even bought cigarettes, he would go out at night, "Going out and walking aside, don't want to contact anyone."
Most of the time he stays with his parents, but he doesn't have a good relationship with his parents. He always gets angry for no reason, and his parents' little words can ignite his emotions. "I feel regretful after getting angry."
He feels like a bastard.
The money was squandered very quickly. One day at the end of 2017, the money was about to be spent. He bought two grams of drugs and a box of An Ding, bought a large syringe, and thought about committing suicide. "I thought about it for a long time, and I live a boring life."
He lay on the bed and pierced the syringe mixed with heroin and An Ding into his thigh tendon. He thought that after pushing, the amount would definitely be fatal, but he fainted before pushing. When he woke up, he couldn't move and found that the syringe was still stuck in his leg, but it was only pushed a little bit.
During that short period of time, his body was numb and clear-headed, he was wondering whether he was going to die or live. "If you go to a car crash, it will make others feel bad. If you want to jump off the building, it will feel very painful." The most painless method at the moment cannot kill him, so he decided to survive and not seek death again.

According to media reports, in 2019, Liu Shuangfa went to Guizhou. The local police found him taking drugs, dealt with him, and took him for an AIDS test, but the test results showed that he was not ill. The police then enforced drug rehabilitation on him.
After the forced drug rehabilitation was over, in order to confirm whether he was sick, he went to a hospital for blood test in November 2021, and the test result was still negative for HIV antibody. Until the end of December last year, he went to Shaoyang Municipal Center for Disease Control and Prevention for testing again and also obtained a negative HIV antibody result.
