Chengdu (Jintang) General Aviation Airport is located in Huaikou Town, Jintang County and Baiguo Town . It is built in accordance with the standards of a Class I general airport. The runway planned scale is 2400×45 meters. The first phase is 1,200×30 meters, covering an area of 1,250 mu, with an investment of 750 million yuan. The airport site was approved by the Civil Aviation Southwest Regional Administration in July 2015, approved by the People's Liberation Army General Staff and Air Force Command in September 2015, and approved by the Sichuan Provincial People's Government in January 2018. On March 27, the preliminary design and estimated budget of the general aviation airport project were jointly approved by the Civil Aviation Southwest Regional Administration and the Provincial Development and Reform Commission.
