Fujian Daily·New Fujian Client reported on January 14 (Reporter Correspondent Shi Yuanqi Text/Photo) As the winter vacation approaches, some schools in Quanzhou City usher in the first final exam under the "double reduction". According to the regulations of the Ministry of Education, paper and pen exams will no longer be conducted in the first and second grades of primary schools. Under the new policy, Licheng District Third Experimental Primary School "moved" 22 World Heritage Sites in Quanzhou City into the examination hall, allowing children to pass the "visit" the World Heritage Spots and take the exam easily in the form of answering questions and passing the test.
"After Quanzhou successfully applied for the World Heritage, the teachers brought 22 world heritage sites into the classroom based on the characteristics of different disciplines, so that children can better understand their hometown." Xu Mingjie, deputy secretary of the school's party branch, introduced that based on this, the school planned this final exam pass. The lesson preparation groups of each subject shall set up the examination content in combination with the knowledge of World Heritage scenic spots according to the curriculum standards, so that children can further check and consolidate the knowledge they have learned this semester through the passing of the standards.
During the exam, the students held the pass level and went to the level with the signs of world heritage attractions such as Kaiyuan Temple and Zhenwu Temple in turn to answer questions and pass the level. Every time they successfully passed the level, the teacher stamped the corresponding scenic spots on the pass level.
"Yeah, I've passed another level!" In the examination room, second-year student Wang Yuxuan successfully passed the mathematics subject examination and was stamped with the "Jiu Rishan". "When I passed the level, the teacher asked me to use a ruler to measure the height of the stone carvings in the Jiuri Mountain picture. This question is relatively simple and can be completed with care." Wang Yuxuan said.
Students introduce Jiurishan to the teacher.
"Fun, fun, but a little nervous", this is the common feeling of many students. The first time I came into contact with the paperless exam, Shen Diqin, a second-year student, found it very interesting. He neither had to write on the test paper nor wait for the results to be announced. But when he was taking the Chinese words and fill in the blanks, he was still a little nervous. "That feeling is like playing a game. He hopes to pass the test and is afraid of operational errors." Shen Diqin said that when he stamped the seal of "Kaiyuan Temple", he felt a sense of accomplishment.
As an examiner, the teachers found that performing the final exam in this way not only reduces pressure on children, but also allows them to understand students' learning situation more intuitively. "Such assessment can not only check students' mastery of knowledge, but also check students' language expression, adaptability and other abilities to exercise their psychological qualities," said Cai Xiaoqing, principal of the school.
"Winter vacation, I want to go to Jiuri Mountain." "I want to see the statue of Mani Guang Buddha in Cao'an." After the exam, the students easily walked out of the examination room, talking about the plans for this holiday.
9-year-old Wang Jiaying wanted her father to take her to Qingyuan Mountain to see Laojun Rock. "In the past, when introducing this attraction in class, the Chinese teacher told its historical story, the math teacher told us the size, and the art teacher asked us to draw it. Before this visit, I have to prepare myself and learn about it in a more comprehensive and detailed manner."
"After this exam, the children's positive reactions surprised us. We encourage students to use the winter vacation to visit more World Heritage attractions and explore the stories behind them with their parents. By deeply understanding the culture of their hometown, we can cultivate a deeper emotion of loving the motherland and loving the hometown." Cai Xiaoqing said.
