The "1862" and the two cultural and artistic spaces with great historical connotations and new ideas of the ship platform are rebuilt into art exhibitions and performances, and the historical value of the century-old factory is promoted in the protection tradition.

"1862" Fashion Art Center, which integrates fashion, art, exhibitions and performing arts, covers an area of 26,000 square meters. In addition to introducing high-end industries such as jewelry and watch exhibitions, art galleries, and high-end restaurants, its 8,000 square meters theater can accommodate nearly a thousand people, and will become an international fashion release center and a performance venue for top international artists. Under the transformation of architectural master Kengo Kuma, the original factory, rusty pipelines, weathered concrete columns and beams and other elements present a unique sense of history and industriality. Onboard Ship Company’s riverside coastline is located in the core section of Shanghai’s world-class waterfront public space, which is of great significance to improving the waterfront cultural quality along the Huangpu River.
