A few days ago, Xu Yaochang, the county magistrate of Miaoli County, Taiwan, led a team to visit and inspect the new city of Meixian District, and highly praised the advanced practices of improving basic supporting facilities, focusing on industrial and urban integration, and promoting expansion and quality improvement. Xu Yaochang and his party visited Meixian District Cultural and Sports Center, Zeng Xianzi Hall, Guangdong East Hospital, and Foreign Language School, accompanied by Zhong Guangling, deputy secretary of the district party committee and district mayor, Zhang Xiaolan, member of the district party committee standing committee and director of the United Front Work Department, and heads of relevant departments to visit Meixian District Cultural and Sports Center, Zeng Xianzi Hall, Guangdong East Hospital, and Foreign Language School to gain an in-depth understanding of the construction of each project and listen to relevant situation introductions.
Zhong Guangling introduced that in recent years, Meixian District has actively seized the major opportunities of the state to promote the revitalization and development of the former Central Soviet District and the province to promote the revitalization and development of the east and west regions of Guangdong, and has successively invested more than 7 billion yuan to improve road infrastructure, urban public supporting services, land acquisition and demolition, and has successively built a series of supporting facilities such as the Cultural and Sports Center, East Guangdong Hospital, and Meixian Foreign Language School, which has attracted the entry of a number of large enterprises such as R&F, Xizhilang, and Red Star Macalline, and the effect of industrial-city linkage development is highlighted. At present, Meixian District is closely focusing on the positioning of the main battlefield of "one district, two belts, and six groups". While expanding and improving the Meixian New City, it scientifically plans the construction of Yanyang New City, Shejiang New City, Huaigang New City, and Kuigang New City, accelerates the improvement of the construction of public service facilities, unswervingly implements the innovation-driven development strategy, and improves the service radiation capacity of the central urban area.
