, the Internet reduces the cost of obtaining information, and the value of business intelligence is improving, but screening and memory of high-quality information in massive information is not easy for ordinary people. Therefore, it is particularly important to learn from who to learn and what method to use.
mentions memory, the top people must be spies. For absolute confidentiality, agent usually cannot record anything, so they must rely on their brains to retain and copy massive amounts of information and ensure their absolute accuracy.
Therefore, the spy's memory, thinking, analysis, judgment and reaction ability are the hard currency that determines the success or failure of the task.
So the question is, can ordinary people learn the training methods of spies? The answer is not only yes, but as long as you persist in practicing with scientific methods, you can also have superb memory and thinking ability.
1. How to improve memory
1. There is a rule for improving memory: the more you know, the easier it is to remember.
For example, university professors and members of the strongest brain, you often envy their agile brains. Indeed, one of the reasons for their strong memory is that they have a huge knowledge system. Such people have real-time updated and classified "tree diagrams" in their minds, which are easier to connect new information with known information.
2. Only partial retelling of the content will make the memory worse, and it is best to recall everything.
For example, when I was a student, everyone had the experience of memorizing classical Chinese. If you only remember keywords, you will find that you cannot actually recite the full text at all. Only by reaching the level of repeatedly memorizing and fluently reciting each word can you truly master the memorization skills.
Of course, "keywords" are a good way to assist memory. Listening to lectures and taking notes is also a similar example. When listening to the teacher explaining knowledge points, you copy the lecture notes on the blackboard without saying a word, or print the lecture notes PPT. At this time, you think you have mastered all the content, too young too simple, if you don’t believe it, try closing the notebook and lecture notes and repeating the course content to your deskmate. You will find that any knowledge point will cause you to get stuck and unable to continue. The solution is that you must recall all the content and express it in your own language and understanding to be considered mastering the knowledge point.
3. Train the memory that you will never forget.
For the need for absolute confidentiality, agents often cannot record anything, and they only have one chance to see the information, so they must rely on their brains to remember a large amount of information, and there is no error.
Of course we know that there are some memory geniuses in this world, but as the secret skills of agents, how can so many agents never forget them?
First of all, you need to know that even the brain of an ordinary person has unlimited potential.
In an experiment, the staff showed 10,000 slides to a group of ordinary people.Subsequent tests showed that their recognition images were as accurate as 80%;
, especially those with bright colors or unusual images, had an accuracy rate of almost 100%. From this we can draw the conclusion that we are not unable to remember a lot of information, but lack the ability to extract this information at critical moments. In addition, what our brains are best at remembering is image information.
Based on this conclusion, training experts have proposed three keywords to help improve memory:
The first is correlation, you should associate the information with things you are familiar with;
The second is image, you need to convert the information into an image;
The third is emotion, you must let the information arouse your emotions, even if this kind of emotion seems absurd and ridiculous. The story method and location method introduced to you below successfully integrate these elements that help you remember.
4. The story method is to compile the information you need to remember into a story.
The more ridiculous this story is, and you are in it yourself, the better the memory effect will be.
Of course, you may say that it is easy to associate things that we are familiar with, but what should I do with some abstract information? This requires us to use homophones or shape substitution methods to image the information first.
, for example, the number 4, you can use homophonics to imagine it as a temple, or you can think of it as a flag based on its appearance. For example, for the abstract concept of "happiness", you can choose to use a photo of a family of three playing games instead.
or above memory method , from a book "Spy School: Memorizing Like a Spy".
If you want to learn more memory methods, I recommend you to read it. Unlike the regular memory training books on the market, it not only has nearly 50 memory methods and nearly 10 memory strategies, it is also a spy development story book. The
case originated from the training program of the Russian KGB agent. The author brought readers into the context of agent training, introduced scientific and rigorous thinking logic training methods, combined with interactive fun training questions, allowing readers to actively use thinking methods when analyzing cases, and thus improve their thinking and memory abilities in a comprehensive manner in the process of step-by-step progress.
Book text and pictures
"Study hard" author Cheng Jia said, "This is one of the few vivid and interesting memory training books I have seen. The author incorporates the efficient memory methods found in years of agent intelligence work into interesting practice.
But I do not recommend you to read this book, but recommend you to practice this book! Good memory is practiced, not read."
2. How to improve concentration?
Focus is actually a limited resource, especially if you want to pay attention to something for a long time, it is not as easy as you think.
If you don’t believe it, you can try it, take out a book and start reading it. Maybe in a few minutes, your thoughts will be distracted.
So, the bad news is that attention training cannot be seen in a short while; the good news is that you can still train anytime, anywhere in your life.
"Spy School" lists a lot of training in this area. I compared it in terms of convenience, fun and difficulty. What I recommend to you is the prop training method.
prop training method is to be able to use all kinds of small things around you casually. I will briefly introduce these training methods of Schulte watch , poker cards, and little matches to you.
Schulte table is a relatively common method to train attention. The specific operation is like this: randomly fill in numbers between 1 and 25 in a form with 5 grids horizontally and vertically. When training
, fix your gaze in the center of the table, and use only the afterglow to find the numbers one by one in order. The shorter the time, the more focused you are. Persisting in practice can exercise your self-control and focus ability.
Poker game is a pairing training. First take out a deck of cards and count six corresponding cards from any two suits in sequence, such as Red A, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 and Plum A, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, scramble the order of cards, and then place the cards face down on the table in four rows and three rows.
You can open any two cards every time. If the numbers are the same, let the cards face up. If they are different, turn them over again. Your task is to pair as quickly as possible until you find the last two cards with the same number. This exercise develops your intuition and concentration.
There is another small method for matching training. You can prepare twelve matches, first take out three or four, and then use something to put them in a shape, and then use a new match to put the shape back on.
After long-term training, you can quickly remember a map or a painting. Another similar method is table items training.
Put some things randomly on the table, take a photo first, and then remember their location in a few seconds, then put them all away, and then place them again according to your memory, and finally take out the photos to compare them to see if you remember them accurately.
In addition to using the table to train, you can also observe the things around you, then close your eyes and copy the picture again in your mind.
These trainings should start with simple things. Only after proficiency can you increase the number of props and increase the difficulty of training in a planned manner.
In addition to using props to train, the book also introduces some other principles for training concentration.
1. If you control a person's attention, you can completely control him.
Attention is like a spotlight in the dark: we can only see the illuminated part. By redirecting the interlocutor's attention, it can be shown to him what we want him to see, while hiding what we don't want him to see.
All magic tricks are based on skills that divert the audience's attention. To achieve this, magicians use distracting movements, bright ribbons, tablecloths, firelights and explosions.
Intelligence officers often have to work under the surveillance of external counterintelligence departments, but they are calm and act almost the same as usual. When searched, intelligence personnel would usually ask the police to help her get a pack of napkins.
After the officers thoroughly searched her bag, they found no suspicious items. In fact, the secret documents she carried were stuck in a napkin.
2. Skills to divert others' attention - extend secret movements.
expands it into several stages, ensuring that each stage looks completely harmless.
For example, in order to pick up an item without attracting attention, you can stop in front of the item, open your bag, take out the gloves, accidentally remove one of them, bend down to pick it up, and then remove a handkerchief, then pick up the required items and gloves, then leave, leaving the handkerchief on the ground.
The monitor will notice that you have removed and picked up some items. But their attention will be attracted by your handkerchief, and your awkwardness will not arouse any doubt.
No one will notice the number of items you discarded, nor will anyone pay attention to what you picked up.
is different from what we see in film and television dramas. In real spy work, there are actually not so many hot and bloody action scenes. It mainly deals with the collected information and discovers valuable intelligence from the information.
The brain is like muscles. Most people only use very small capacity. You need to strengthen your brain's abilities through exercise.
"The Brainiest" program The captain of the Chinese team, as the reviewer of "Spy School", wrote in the recommendation preface: "This is a comprehensive memory method book, which not only tells us how to use memory skills to form "long-term memory", but also provides many interesting games to help us improve our "working memory" level;
It is also a rich psychological guide to avoid you falling into some common memory psychological traps; it is also an interesting story book, which contains the secrets of agent training and cases of ordinary people turning from rookies to advanced dual agents.
Improvement of thinking and memory requires a lot of practice. It is recommended that you practice as required in the book while reading, so that your brain will gradually become stronger and become the "strongest brain" that others envy. "
