Pioneer Art has become a pioneering and experimental summary of its integration and attempts in social consciousness and artistic carriers. From the 1990s to the millennium, the popularity of cameras, computers, the Internet, three-dimensional animation and various design and image editing software combined artistic expression with rapidly developing media media. The use of multimedia has gradually given art more opportunities to integrate into society and life in social evolution.
The development of China's avant-garde art has always been rooted in a strong regional cultural background. The distinct cultural differences between the north and the south have created completely different artistic ecology. The unique and rich cultural soil of the Pearl River Delta region provides the nutrients and inspiration for precipitation and development of a few artists, and has become a city of thinking far away from the Central Plains culture. Cao Fei reviewed the art ecology of southern China, especially the Pearl River Delta region, as a "more natural, real and intelligent" creative atmosphere, and explored the relationship between individuals and reality in a more tolerant and open context, which also seems to reflect the naturalness of the culture of the Pearl River Delta region and the Cantonese culture.
independent documentary director Yang Lisan will introduce and reproduce this unique art ecology on the spot. The 6th Chinese Video Art Festival will cooperate with BFI Experimenta (BFI is the abbreviation of the British Film Institute. Experimenta is the BFI-led Experimental Art Screening Project) project, King's College of London and China Cultural Connect (UK), and the Cao Fei Review Film Festival project will be presented in London from May 11 to 12. The project includes three units: the "Cao Fei: A Game" review film festival unit, the "La Town + Home Video Tape, Cao Fei Dialogue with Yang Lisan" unit, and the "Imaging Pearl River Delta" co-organized by Zhan Xuhua and Cao Fei.

Chen Shaoxiong's "Scenery-2" (1996) combines the familiar urban landscape with images with non-related meanings in one picture to form a non-meaning visual language. Ou Ning, Cao Fei and Yuan Film Association members include "Sanyuanli" (2003) co-created by Huang Weikai, who was responsible for filming. They conduct an analysis and investigation into the conflicts and reconciliation between the Lingnan settlement culture and the urban construction of Guangzhou in the form of social surveys and experimental documentaries, and explore the historical intersection and integration of tradition and modernity through the strange scenes of Guangzhou urban villages.
