Listen to Electa Amator III in U-Audio, what is the difference between listening to Dunhuang? The combination and adjustment of Dunhuang sounds more refreshing and transparent. When I was in U-Audio, I used to listening to bookshelf speakers in a regular triangle near-field listening method, so the left and right distances of the Electa Amator III were relatively close, and the tone sounded richer and thicker. So when I wrote the review, I used several opera arias, and the vocals were thick and warm. However, the Electa Amator III adjusted in Dunhuang had better sounds and width than when I was listening in U-Audio, and the speaker was more open. When the volume was turned on, the entire sound field scale was larger and the depth was better.
. When I listened to Electa Amator III at U-Audio, I was paired with a McIntosh 8900 comprehensive amplifier, the bottom was warmer and the mid-frequency was thicker. Regarding the Loudness function key, many enthusiasts think that it will change the original tone, but when listening at low volume, the output of the amplifier is limited by the volume control, and the low frequency shrinks timidly, so Loudness compensation is required. Please remember to turn on Loudness when listening at low volume. If you listen at normal volume or high volume, remember to turn off Loudness so that you won’t hear the distorted low frequency manually enhanced by Loudness, and the sound will be unnatural.
R 1000 E has good thrust
Electa Amator III is actually not a very easy speaker to push. When I use the MA8900, I can see the power amplifier working hard from the blue watch head. However, the R 1000 E does not have a power display, so I can only feel it by listening. Turn off the Loudness and turn it to normal volume. It's good. When the right hand explodes, the R 1000 E still has good control over the Electa Amator III. The crazy chords correspond to the melody. Each heavy hand is accurate and clear, which means that the amplifier has a mid-bass single that grabs the speaker.
I tried the volume several times and pushed the volume of R 1000 E to about 70. The volume was too high. That was not the volume of enjoying the music normally. The more appropriate volume fell about 50~60. However, even at the inhuman volume, the R 1000 E did not lose control, but it just sounded a little tight. But this is needed to test the audio, so I had to move to the inhuman volume to see if the amplifier would get out of control. Under the normal listening volume, the R 1000 E drove the Electa Amator III with ease. Moreover, the listening room in Dunhuang is not a small space, but a relatively large room. It can be seen that the driving force of the R 1000 E is good enough with the Electa Amator III.
Pay attention to the placement of Dunhuang's Electa Amator III, and there is no Toe-in, but the wide sound field space feels quite beautiful. When I listen to Electa Amator III myself, I do a little Toe-in angle at a closer distance, and match it with the Electa Amator III of the original tripod. The floor is made of marble, but there is a large area of carpet in front of the speaker, which can reduce the interference of reflected sound.
