From 2012 to 2021, "Jinpingguo" has launched the competitiveness rankings of China's higher vocational colleges for ten consecutive years. Focusing on vocational education here specifically presents to everyone the top ten colleges and universities in the past ten years.

According to statistics, we found that in the past ten years, vocational colleges and universities have appeared in the top ten list.

Two of the schools have been upgraded to undergraduates. They are: Nanjing Industrial Vocational and Technical College in 2019 to Vocational and Technical College, and in 2020 they were renamed Nanjing Industrial Vocational and Technical University ; Shanghai Public Security College was officially upgraded to Shanghai Public Security College in 2017.

2012-2013, the top ten colleges and universities were exactly the same in the past two years.

Between 2014 and 2017, the top ten vocational colleges and universities have changed a lot.

The top ten institutions in 2014 disappeared in 2017 and fell completely out of the top ten. This means that compared with 2014, the top ten universities in higher vocational colleges and universities in 2017 were completely refreshed.

2018-2021, the top ten colleges and universities gradually stabilized. In the past four years, the top ten universities in the country have basically emerged in 15 schools, and the school rankings have not changed much.

It is worth mentioning that Shenzhen Vocational and Technical College ranked fourth in the country in 2012 and 2013; fell out of the top ten in the country in 2014; ranked second in the country in 2015; from 2016 to 2021, it has been ranked first in the country in the past six years.

Looking at the development of vocational education, vocational education is moving forward, and the number of vocational colleges is increasing year by year. From the changes in the top ten universities in the country over the past decade, we can also see that the development of vocational colleges will also decline if they do not advance. Vocational colleges and universities should give full play to their advantages to the greatest extent, improve the quality of talent training, improve the "hard core" strength of running schools, and be a benchmark for vocational education in the new era.
