1. Investigation and research, prescribe the right medicine. According to the analysis of the fire situation in Jiangchuan District in the past five years, fires of dead people occur from time to time, and most of them are lonely and widowed people living alone in rural areas. The main reason is that the elderly have difficulty moving, slow call the police, and poor self-protection ability. In response to this reality, the fire brigade, based on careful investigation, proposed the idea of promoting the installation of "fire alarms for elderly people living alone" in rural families to reduce casualties for elderly people living alone and widowed in rural areas.
2. Pilot drives and voluntary installation. Since the alarm installation, the micro fire station has received 23 alarms, including 2 fire alarms, 21 rescuers, and 6 rescue personnel, effectively protecting the lives and property of the people, and has received unanimous praise from party committees and governments at all levels in the district and all sectors of society. At present, the work has been promoted in 6 townships, 20 communities and 42 village committees in the district, and has been fully affirmed by Niu Wanglin, deputy mayor of the district government and director of the district public security bureau. It also emphasized that it is necessary to insist on promoting the promotion and installation of "fire alarms for elderly people living alone" to improve the people's sense of happiness and security.
