Hz said in a press release that from early November to the end of this year, consumers will be able to rent to Tesla Model 3 in major U.S. markets and some European cities. At the same time, Hertz will also build thousands of supporting charging facilities. In the future, Hertz will lay more than 3,000 super charging stations in the United States and Europe for use by Tesla Model 3 rental users.

Foreign media reported that this may be the largest order for electric car in history. Hertz's current electrification plan includes about 500,000 cars, of which Tesla's order is an important first part.
