According to Lianhe Zaobao, the survey results released by British investigative agency Opinium Research on the 13th showed that among the 450 Conservative Party members who have decided their voting intentions, Tras is far ahead with a 61% approval rating, while Sunak's approval rating is 39%.

The above investigation was conducted between August 8 and 12. Three main reasons why the interviewed party members supported Tras include: dislike Sunak, considering her more honest and credible, and her loyalty to Johnson.

If respondents who did not indicate their voting intention were included, the total number of survey samples from Opinium Research reached 570. Less than one-third of them, or 29% said they had voted; another 47% said they had decided who they wanted to vote for. Only 19% said they could still change their minds.
