"2021 National Education Development Statistical Bulletin" released
On September 15, the Ministry of Education issued the 2021 National Education Development Statistical Bulletin. The communiqué shows that there are 529,300 schools at all levels and types across the country, 291 million students at all levels and academic education, and 18.4437 million full-time teachers.
Bulletin shows that there are 294,800 kindergartens nationwide and 48.0521 million preschool education in kindergartens. There are 207,200 compulsory education schools nationwide. The compulsory education stage enrolled 34.8802 million students, 158 million students in school, and 10.5719 million full-time teachers.
