Dongjianghu, Dongjiang water, Dongjiang fish, I have been hearing these things, this time, the time, place and people are finally in harmony. I went to Dongjiang Lake for a trip in June. Dongjiang Lake Scenic Area is located in Dongjiang Town, Zixing City, Chenzhou City. It is a national 5A-level tourist area and is a place that is very suitable for families and friends to go out for fun.
First of all, in terms of travel and transportation, we take the bus to Wanhua Bus Station next to Chenzhou West Station. There are two ways to get to Zixing City at Wanhua Bus Station. One is to take Chenzhou Intercity Bus No. 201, the ticket price is 7 yuan, buy tickets in the ticket hall, choose Chenzhou-Zixing, and take a bus every fifteen minutes, about an hour and a half. Get off at Luowei Station, and after getting off, you can take a taxi to the hotel or homestay you booked. You can get to the Dongjianghu Scenic Area for about 10 yuan online. Another option is to choose a customized express train, with a ticket price of 23 yuan, and a car can take 7 people. Follow Chenqi Group’s official account on WeChat, choose travel services-customized express trains, choose Chenzhou-Zixing, have two lines A-B to Zixing, get off at Zixing Jinkang Hotel.
In terms of accommodation, there are many B&Bs near Dongjianghu Scenic Area, and the prices are also moderate. I saw that Banshanju Inn in Meituan, this B&B is highly praised, so I chose this one, which is less than 5 minutes away from the visitor center. The owner of the B&B where we live is a couple. There are two B&Bs on the same street, and there is a storefront across the house. The owner of the B&B is very enthusiastic. The owner of the B&B can help buy tickets, which is 5 yuan off for Meituan and the scenic spot.
Regarding attractions, there are several types of tickets, and generally you book two types. The boutique route is 80 yuan and the ordinary island tour is 170 yuan. The boutique route attractions include Xiaodongjiang and Longjing Canyon. You can take a cruise and the largest island in the Dongjiang Lake to visit the cave. We chose an ordinary island tour. We recommend that you take a boat to better explore the panoramic view of Dongjiang Lake.
The foggy scenery of the Xiaodong River can be seen in the morning and evening from May to October. We departed at 6:30 in the morning to head to the Visitor Center and took the tourist bus. The bus will park in the middle of the stands No. 1 and stands No. 2. Tourists get off to enjoy the foggy littledong River. There are 3 stands in total, and each stand will have staff casting nets on the boat. Before the fog clears, we are watching the net at seven o'clock.
TIPS: There is no public bathroom in scenic spots between the three stands in Xiaodongjiang. People living on the roadside need to charge 2 yuan to go to the toilet, and there will be a bathroom in scenic spots only when they arrive at the terminal.
The terminal of the tourist bus is the tourist wharf. Walking forward is the Longjing Canyon. You need to climb a mountain, and you will climb it for about an hour. If you are buying a tour around the island, it is recommended to take a cruise at the tourist wharf first. The environment of the cruise ship is quite good. When you drive to a stable place, you can wear a life jacket to the deck of the cruise ship to enjoy the scenery.
After arriving at Tushima Island, the largest island in Dongjiang Lake, we will visit the cave according to the instructions.
The cave is super cool and very large, which is quite shocking, but you should be careful when walking, you will meet and pay attention to the steps on the ground.
After visiting the cave, follow the instructions to walk 500 100 meters to the round-trip terminal.

Entered the scenic spot from 6:40 in the morning and was about to return by the tourist bus at noon. The tour time took about five or six hours.
There is also something about eating. We eat folk dishes on both sides of Yihu. You can search on Meituan, right near the scenic spot. All the restaurants here recommend salmon. The salmon in Dongjianghu is artificially cultivated. Meituan Shangyihu and salmon on both sides of the shores have a coupon of 39 yuan. Remember to see if there are any discounts in Meituan. The taste of other dishes is a bit spicy. If you can’t eat spicy food, remember to say it in advance when ordering. There are also other small shops next to the scenic area. You can try Chenzhou pig slaughter noodles. They taste good, 15 yuan per bowl.
Dongjianghu is still very worth visiting for everyone. The mountains are green, the water is green, the air is good, and environmental protection measures are good. I recommend visiting in the morning in summer, after all, it is really hot at noon.
