Ringhai Road upgrade and renovation project is an Yantai City map combat star municipal project. The renovation scope starts from Zhifu Island Interchange in the west and ends at Qingnian Road in the east. The total length of the road is 4,297 meters. This renovation will continue to be based on the premise of optimizing road traffic, improving infrastructure, and improving urban quality, and comprehensively upgrading and renovating roads from many aspects such as road widening, intersection channelization, transportation facilities, lighting projects, and urban greening. The main renovation content includes rebuilding the road structure layer, widening the existing 6-lane in both directions to 8-lane in both directions, channeling the intersection nodes into 10-lane in both directions, and updating traffic facilities, simultaneously improving the height and brightness of street lights, enriching the greening level, and building the rampart road into a "highlight" link in the coastal area of the city.

During the construction period, a plan for banning large trucks during peak periods and detours of some bus routes will be implemented.

Due to the overall upgrade and renovation of the Ringhai Road, in order to maintain the road traffic order, according to the requirements of relevant departments, other bus routes except Line 2, Line 11, Line 19 and Line 42 will temporarily detour Zhifutun Road to alleviate the traffic pressure on the Ringhai Road.
