Article 10 of the People's Police Law of the People's Republic of China stipulates that "in the event of emergency situations such as resisting arrest, riots, jailbreaks, robbing guns or other violent acts, the people's police of the public security organs may use weapons in accordance with relevant national regulations."
Article 9 of the Regulations on the Use of Police Equipment and Weapons of the People's Police Provisions: If the people's police determine that they have one of the following emergency situations of violent crimes, and the warning is invalid, they may use weapons:

(VIII) Destroy important facilities such as military, communications, transportation, energy, and danger prevention, which is sufficient to cause serious and urgent dangers to public safety;
(VI) Carry out violent acts such as homicide and hostages, endangering the lives and safety of citizens;
(VII) The guards, guards, and guards and guards as stipulated by the state are subject to violent attacks, damages or are in urgent dangers of violent attacks, damages;
(8) Robbery or rob public and private property with armed arms;
(9) Gathering armed fighting and riots seriously disrupt social security and order, and cannot be stopped by other methods;
(10) Resist or obstructing the people's police from performing their duties in accordance with the law or violently attacking the people's police, endangering the lives and safety of the people's police;
(11) Detainees and criminals gather to riot, riot, commit crimes or escape;
(12) Robbing the detainees and criminals;
(13) Resisting arrest or escape after committing arson, water break, explosion, murder, robbery or other serious violent crimes;
(14) Criminals resist arrest or escape with guns, explosions, poisons and other dangerous items;
(15) Other situations in which weapons can be used as stipulated by laws and administrative regulations. If the people's police use weapons in accordance with the provisions of the preceding paragraph and have no time to warn or may lead to more serious harmful consequences after warning, they may use weapons directly.
Therefore, when using weapons, the people's police should make judgments strictly in accordance with the above provisions and use weapons properly and accurately. Otherwise, it may constitute dereliction of duty and abuse of power.
