After the September 18th Incident, our three eastern provinces became a colony of Japan. Japan formed a puppet Manchukuo in the Northeast, and also established the puppet Manchukuo Central Bank and issued pseudo coins on the basis of seizing the original financial institutions in the Northeast.
At the beginning of the opening of the pseudo-Manchurian Central Bank , due to the hasty time, it was necessary to monopolize the unified currency system of the financial market, but it was not time to print new coupons, so it temporarily used , the official bank account of the three eastern provinces , the 18th year of the Republic of China, and , Shiyuan , the coin materials that were not stamped on the ocean exchange coupons were modified, so it was called "transformation coupons", and the six words ", Manchurian Central Bank " were printed in red. Two months after the issuance and circulation of the coupons, the counterfeit coins printed by the Japanese Cabinet Printing Office, were shipped one after another, with five types of
this set of five coupons is the first set issued after the transformation coupon, so it is also called "Number A coupon" by the collection industry.
also issued five types of "No. B coupons" from 1935 to 1938: 5 cents, 1 yuan, 5 yuan, 10 yuan and 100 yuan.
The most obvious difference between this set of five coupons is that the font on the back of the coupon is changed to a solid font, so it is also called "single-line coupon" in the collection industry. This set of five coupons shows that the Japanese and puppet authorities did rack their brains when designing it, and worked hard to find images that did not expose too much ambitions and could be accepted by the general public. Therefore, they sealed the ancient Chinese Confucius , Mencius and the god of wealth on it to deceive the people. It is said that the "sheep coupon" with a denomination of 100 yuan in No. B coupon contains 100 sheep. At that time, 100 sheep could be purchased. If a sheep is only one yuan, it means that the value at the beginning of the design was quite high.
1941 to 1944, the issuance of No. C vouchers began. The denomination text on the back of this coupon uses a hollow double-line body, so it is also called "double-line coupon" in the collection industry, but a small denomination of 1 cent is added.
Later, the printing plate of the fake Manchukuo banknote was shipped from Japan to Changchun, and was changed to a local printing of the banknotes by the Pseudo Manchukuo Printing Bureau. By September 1944, the long number in the number C coupons of 1 yuan, 5 yuan and 10 yuan coupons was changed to a short number. The printing factory name was not corrected, and the denomination of 1,000 yuan coupons was added.
The Central Bank of Japan has not issued any money, and it only relies on aircraft and cannons to control the printing and issuance of currency. Except for the reform coupons, the others are printed by the Japanese Cabinet Printing Bureau. The design of the coupon was full of colonialism at the beginning, and later to paralyze the Chinese people's anti-Japanese sentiment, they also designed images of Confucius, Mencius and God of Wealth that the Chinese respected, which shows the sinister intentions of the Japanese. According to incomplete statistics, since the bank opened, in addition to the Kwantung Army taking away 3.4 billion yuan as military expenditure, there is still 55.65 million yuan left. Where did this money come from? Of course, it is the transformation of Chinese resources and the blood and sweat of the Chinese people, and it is also a historical witness to Japan's invasion and plunder of our country. In other words, although what our collectors collect today is a collection, it is also a historical proof!
