People who go to Hong Kong from the mainland must undergo 14 days of compulsory quarantine at designated locations (home, hotel or other residence). Some people can be exempted from quarantine, such as cross-border truck drivers, crew members, etc., but must undergo a new coronavirus test and obtain a negative result. As the epidemic gradually eases and is under control, the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government is step by step introducing policies to relax entry requirements. Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao government mutual recognition (Guangdong Province medical or testing institutions*; Macao medical or testing institutions; Hong Kong medical or testing institutions); or
National Health Commission accreditation (can be accessed through the National Health Commission portal mini program (the "State Council Client" mini program nucleic acid testing organization query ("National Testing Agency Query") function access list).
* i) All medical testing institutions in Guangdong Province that can upload negative RT-PCR nucleic acid test results to the " Guangdong Health Code " system;
ii) Provincial medical testing institutions approved by the National Health Commission and can be accessed through the nucleic acid testing agency inquiry ("through the Guangdong Provincial Testing Agency Query") function of the State Council microportal "State Council Client" mini program), or on its official website (http://bmfw.www.gov.cn/hsjcjgcx/index.html)
(3) nucleic acid testing based on PCR is carried out through professional swab sampling at the community testing center (CTCh) or mobile sample collection station (free) or locally recognized medical testing institutions (at their own expenses). Personnel under compulsory quarantine should try to use point-to-point transportation to go to the testing point.
