Difficult to fill out forms for the elderly;
facilitates the use of self-service equipment for certificate application, strengthens manual guidance services for self-service equipment in the entry and exit certificate application hall, provides manual consultation, guidance and other services and assistance to the elderly, assists the elderly in using self-service collection and self-service certificate application equipment, and facilitates the elderly to enjoy intelligent services;
simplifies the process of collecting certificates for the elderly, and the elderly over 60 years old (inclusive) apply for ordinary passports , Hong Kong and Macao pass or Taiwan pass , you can directly reuse photos of entry and exit documents or resident ID cards that have been processed within 5 years, without taking photos or providing photos on site;
provides a variety of methods of payment of certificates and license fees, and the entry and exit certificate hall provides a variety of options for payment of certificates and license fees such as cash, bank cards, mobile payment, etc., and provides cash payment conversion methods to facilitate the elderly who do not have mobile payment conditions or bank cards to pay certificate fees;
improves the online service experience of the elderly and upgrades and transforms the entry and exit government service platform , add online service functions such as relatives and friends agency, optimize the operation interface, add large font and large button page display, realize simplified and differentiated customized operation processes, and facilitate the elderly to enjoy more convenient online services;
has opened a government service platform certificate delivery service, and the Internet government service platform of the Immigration Bureau provides convenient services such as document delivery, postage payment, full-process express information inquiry, etc. through online channels such as websites, Immigration Bureau APP, third-party platforms, etc.
effectively helps the elderly to cross the " digital divide "
According to data released by National Bureau of Statistics , at the end of 2019, the number of elderly people aged 60 and above in China reached 254 million, accounting for 18.1% of the total population, and the number of elderly people aged 65 and above reached 176 million, accounting for 12.6% of the total population. The China Development Report 2020: Development Trends and Policies of China's Population Aging" released by the China Development Foundation predicts that by around 2022, the population over 65 years old in China will account for 14% of the total population.
