From 3533 Factory to 7449 Factory
1965, the construction of the third line began, and Nanjing 3503 Factory was responsible for the construction of 3533 Factory (Dyeing Factory). The site was selected in Quhe Township, Liushu District, Shehong County at that time. They led migrant workers to build roads and houses, and a modern factory was quickly built.
At that time, in order to ensure the factory's production water use, a water diversion culvert of Fu River was also built. However, due to insufficient water volume and inconvenient transportation in the Fu River, the 3533 factory was relocated to Jiangjin. The original factory site was converted into an automobile overhaul factory, which is now well-known Factory 7449.
During the peak period, there were about 700 employees in the 49th Factory, including cinemas, fire stations, public security, stations, canteens, hospitals, kindergartens, primary schools, junior high schools, etc. It is said that high schools were planned later. In addition to the family and the surrounding people, the permanent population exceeded 2,000, which was more lively than many towns at that time.
Today's Sijiu Factory has bid farewell to the hustle and bustle of the past and is once again obscured by the dust of history. However, the large number of buildings in the lost ravine can still easily bring back memories from half a century ago.
This is the former site of the 3537 factory located in Wu'an Town Caijiagou. The current factory building is very dilapidated and few outsiders know about it. The factory in
3537 had a short time in Shehong, but it still left traces of construction from that year.
Departing from Shehong, traveling west along the highway in Wu'an direction for 3 kilometers, turn right into Caijiagou, and you can see several red brick houses from a distance. The road next to it suddenly became spacious, and Factory 3537 arrived.
Choose a ravine, which is the standard for site selection for almost all military factories, and the 37 factories surrounded by mountains are no exception. A few years ago, I saw a sporadic introduction to Factory 3537 in the tide of text. The initial plan of the
3437 factory was mainly to produce rubber and military shoes. Later, due to the change in railway planning from Chengdu to Nanchong, Factory 3537 moved out of Shehong in 1968 to its new home, Longli County, Guizhou; later it developed into the four designated rubber shoes factory in the army.

Since 1980, Factory 3536 has changed from fully producing military clothing to producing military and civilian clothing. Some raw materials and products are produced and sold by themselves. Processing all kinds of pure wool materials, medium and high-end military and civilian clothing, externally processed pure wool materials for civilian suits, self-produced and sold breeches and wool military coats and polyester cotton coats, are praised by users as good products.
After the reform and opening up, the national clothing industry flourished and market competition became increasingly fierce. The military uniforms and civilian products produced by 3536 still need to be transported to Mianyang Railway Station , 140 kilometers away, with annual transportation costs reaching more than 400,000 yuan.
At this time, economic and social development has gradually shown changes, the wave of urbanization has begun to emerge, and new problems have also come one after another. The workers here are still worried about going to the city and going to school for their children. Building a "branch" has become the choice of the times.

Many college students are not allowed to enter military factories after graduation, but instead strive to enter military factories.
