Hon Hai Precision ( Foxconn ) released a consolidated financial report for fiscal year 2019 (as of December 2019), showing that net profit decreased by 11% year-on-year to NT$115.3 billion. Operating income was NT$5.3428 trillion (about US$176.7 billion), an increase of 1%. Operating profit, which shows the profitability of the main business, fell by 16%. Net profit in the fourth quarter was NT$47.8 billion, down 23.7% from NT$62.6 billion in the same period last year. Revenue in the fourth quarter fell 3.8% to NT$1.74 trillion.
PEGATRON Corporation released its 2019 consolidated financial report. The net operating income for the whole year was NT$136.63 billion (about US$45.5 billion), compared with the previous year of NT$1340 billion. The annual operating net profit was 16.9 billion yuan, compared with 11.9 billion yuan last year. The net profit for the whole year was 18.3 billion yuan, compared with 11.1 billion yuan last year. The net profit attributable to the parent company's owners for the whole year was 19.3 billion yuan, compared with 11.1 billion yuan last year.
Quanta Computer lnc. released its 2019 consolidated financial report. The annual operating income was NT$1029.6 billion (about US$34.3 billion), compared with NT$102.8 billion last year. The annual operating net profit was 19 billion yuan, compared with 14.3 billion yuan last year. The net profit for the whole year was 16.3 billion yuan, compared with 15.3 billion yuan last year. The net profit attributable to the parent company's owners for the whole year was 14.5 billion yuan, compared with 15.6 billion yuan last year.
Renbao Computer (COMPAL Inc.) announced its 2019 operating results. The combined revenue reached NT$980.442 billion (about US$32.6 billion), an increase of 1% year-on-year. The consolidated operating net profit was NT$10.586 billion, an increase of 14% year-on-year. After deducting extra-industry and income tax expenses, the net profit attributable to the parent company's owners was NT$6.956 billion. The consolidated revenue in the fourth quarter was NT$267.523 billion, and the consolidated operating net profit was NT$3.086 billion. After deducting extra-industry and income tax expenses, the net profit attributable to the parent company's owners was NT$2.014 billion.

The combined revenue for the whole year was NT$878.3 billion (about US$29.2 billion), operating net profit was NT$13.3 billion, pre-tax net profit was NT$12.7 billion, and after-tax net profit was NT$6.8 billion. In the fourth quarter of 2019, consolidated revenue was NT$250.2 billion, operating net profit was NT$4.98 billion, pre-tax net profit was NT$4.895 billion, and after-tax net profit was NT$2.838 billion.
INVENTEC CORPORATION released its 2019 consolidated financial report. The annual sales revenue was NT$501 billion (about US$16.7 billion), compared with NT$506.9 billion last year. TSMC (TSMC) released its fourth quarter financial report for the 2019 fiscal year ended December 31. According to the financial report, the consolidated revenue of TSMC in the fourth quarter was NT$317.237 billion (approximately US$10.595 billion), an increase of 9.5% from NT$289.771 billion in the same period last year; net profit was NT$116.035 billion (approximately US$3.875 billion), an increase of 16.1% from NT$99.984 billion in the same period last year.
ASE Technology Holding Co., Ltd. announced its fourth quarter and full-year results for 2019. The fourth quarter revenue in the fourth quarter was NT$116 billion (about US$3.88 billion), a year-on-year increase of 2%. The operating net profit for the quarter was NT$8.7 billion, and the net profit attributable to the owners of the company was NT$6.38 billion. The combined revenue for the whole year was NT$413.2 billion (about US$13.8 billion), an increase of 11% year-on-year. The annual operating net profit was NT$23.5 billion, and the net profit attributable to the owners of the company was NT$16.85 billion.
MediaTek announced its fourth quarter and full-year results for 2019. Net operating income in the fourth quarter of 2019 was NT$64.7 billion (approximately US$2.16 billion), an increase of 6.3% from the same period last year. Operating profit for the quarter was NT$6.2 billion, an increase of 61.7% over the same period last year. Net profit for the current quarter was NT$6.38 billion, an increase of 56.6% over the same period last year. Net operating income for the whole year in 2019 was NT$246.2 billion (about US$8.23 billion), an increase of 3.4% over last year. The annual operating profit was NT$22.57 billion, an increase of 39.5% over last year. The net profit for the whole year was NT$23.2 billion, an increase of 11.7% over last year.
UMCUMCUMCUMC released its fourth quarter operating report for 2019, with consolidated operating income of NT$41.85 billion (approximately US$1.4 billion), a 17.8% increase compared with NT$35.52 billion in the same period last year. The net profit attributable to the parent company was NT$3.84 billion. In the fourth quarter, the newly merged Japanese USJC revenue will be included in the combined revenue of wafer specialists.

ASUS (ASUS) released its 2019 consolidated financial report. The annual operating income was NT$351.3 billion (about US$11.7 billion), compared with NT$354.2 billion last year. The operating profit for the whole year was 11.6 billion yuan, compared with 17 billion yuan last year. The net profit for the whole year was 13 billion yuan, compared with 5.27 billion yuan last year. The net profit attributable to the parent company's owners for the whole year was 12.1 billion yuan, compared with 4.235 billion yuan last year.
Acer Inc. announced its fourth-quarter and full-year financial report, with consolidated revenue in the fourth quarter of NT$61.584 billion; operating net profit of NT$1.165 billion, an annual increase of 6.8%; and after-tax net profit of NT$341 million. The consolidated revenue for the whole year of 2019 was NT$234.285 billion (about US$7.8 billion); the operating net profit was NT$3.078 billion; and the after-tax net profit was NT$2.633 billion.

The fourth quarter revenue was differentiated by product applications, with mobile phones and commercial products being 33%, portable computers being 21%, desktop screens being 11%, and TVs being 35%.
