The owner's family originally lived with their parents. Due to the arrival of the second child, the parents' residence can no longer meet the living needs of the whole family. The owner and his wife purchased a homestead not far from their parents' home and built their own villa to meet the living needs of their family of four. They can take care of each other at the same time.

Owner requires
mainly for the long-term living of four people in the family of four. The number of rooms is required. The owner needs to work from home occasionally. The older child is already in junior high school and needs a space for learning and a public study room. The owner prefers to enjoy film and television. In order to meet the owner's hobbies, an independent film and television room is needed. Parents will often come to help take care of their children and have private cars, requiring at least two parking spaces. The owner likes the natural and simple life style very much, and requires that a simple and warm atmosphere be reflected in the facade and space expression.

Because the plot is rectangular and has a large depth, in order to avoid insufficient indoor lighting and ventilation after the room is arranged, two inner courtyards are placed in the middle of the room, forming a complete courtyard system with the front and rear courtyards, which also gives the space a sense of sequence and rhythm of alternating opening and closing, greatly improving the indoor lighting and ventilation, making the space more quality.

Feature design
The project has only one layer. The facade uses a low-key and simple concrete wall as the main material according to the owner's taste. The upper part of the wall is not directly connected to the roof, but is disengaged, thus forming a linear thin seam, and a light strip is set in the seam, and warm light is reflected through the wooden veneer in the seam and the top, forming a simple and warm visual atmosphere, which is excellent in line with the owner's life style.
