The Taiwan authorities' legislative body invited the executive department head Su Zhenchang to lead the "Ministry Council" officials to give a policy report and prepare for inquiries. Chen Jiaohua said during the inquiry that "Mirror TV" was interrogated by the NCC external members on July 16, 2021. After hearing this, Tsai Ing-wen immediately told Su Zhenchang that "there is no reason to drag others (referring to "Mirror TV"), you must deal with it quickly." Pei Wei also said that former DPP Secretary-General Hong Yaofu told Chen Yaoxiang that the application for "Mirror TV" license is Tsai Ing-wen's will, and anyone who is in charge of the administrative department still needs to do it.
Su Zhenchang denied the above recording content one by one and said that the senior management of the "Peace Court" never intervened in the review of the "Mirror TV" license, and he himself never put pressure on Chen Yaoxiang or cared about this matter.
Chen Jiaohua asked, was it Pei Wei lying? Su Zhenchang argued that he didn't know whether Pei Wei was lying or not, and he didn't even know whether Pei Wei's voice was played in the recording. However, he has clearly denied what Chen Jiaohua asked during the questioning.
