-The character of "Carigula 2" is very handsome and recognizable. Is there anything interesting to say during the character design process?
おぐち: It should be an unprecedented experience to go directly to the producers in the mountains to discuss the role. This work is a very delicate work, and you must talk to it in person to understand the atmosphere you want to convey. At this level, we are not just a simple relationship between outsourcing and case acceptance. This way of doing things is based on the mutual trust accumulated in the past.
-The song selection of this work's role songs allows multiple VOCALOID producers to compose the songs, and the lineup is also very luxurious. What is the opportunity for this choice? Will there be problems with different people composing inconsistent styles?
Yamanaga: The previous work is selected to provide works by composers who mainly use Niconico animation activities in Japan. Five years after that, their main battlefield has moved to Youtube. So, I think it is indispensable to make a game that describes today's Japan, and now the help of composers who are active in Youtube.
This is not because I am a music used in the game, so I ask the composers to change the way they usually compose music. The completed music is all works that can make the music industry richer and more colorful. I think the inconsistency in style at this time seems more realistic.

-Myōsaki, who was in charge of the script in the previous work, took on the world view in the sequel. Will Mr. Yamaakashi have any major changes in his design of the script?
Shanzhong: To sum it up in one sentence, it means "the pressure is really great." Although the original plan of the previous work was what I thought, after all, it was changed from an industry legend to me... I believe many players will be disappointed because it was not Mr. Rimi personally, and some people are worried that "Carigula" will lose its original style because of this. However, observing the reactions of players after the Japanese version are released, it seems that everyone feels that the familiar "Carigula" is still a lot of relief. Since I am also a producer, I think it is quite ideal to adjust the script according to the overall balance of the work at the end of the production.
-What are the evolutions in this game’s combat?
Shanzhong: We think that each character can act three times and will destroy the rhythm of the game, so we can only act once instead. This also means that the combat balance is transformed from "trying to piece together individual segments" to "teaming out a segment by team members." The "full-scene focus mode" in which Qi Yi intervenes with her singing voice is also one of the characteristics. The form of our singing against the enemy is impressive. Doing so can break the deadlock in battle is a major evolution in this system. It is extremely symbolic in both literary and gaming.

In terms of communication with NPCs, we decided to focus on quality rather than weight, reduce the number of NPCs, but allow them to have a plot that can be triggered continuously. Japanese players seem to give positive comments on this change, which makes me feel much more at ease.
