2 Gewan Village’s historical evolution

Gewan Village, according to legend, the village was originally built by the surname Ge and Wan. In the late Yuan Dynasty, a family from Shandong surnamed Pan fled to famine and settled here. Guo Lingrui, original name Guo Aiwu, from Jincheng City, Shanxi Province, chairman of Hon Hai Precision Industry Co., Ltd. Guo Taiming father, born in 1922, at the age of 16 in the War of Resistance Against Japan, he participated in military education and joined the ranks of the War of Resistance Against Japan. After the victory of the Anti-Japanese War, he transferred to Central Police School , lived in a cave with straw sandals, and worked hard to complete his studies. After graduation, he was distributed to the Qingdao Police Bureau for services. In 1948, he went to Taiwan and served as the Keelung Port Bureau, Taipei County Police Bureau, Criminal Police Bureau and other units. He retired in 1989.
