According to the public resume, Lang Wenrong was born in September 1970 , a native of Hangzhou, Zhejiang. He joined the Communist Party of China in May 1995 and started working in July 1988. He has a postgraduate degree from the Provincial Party School .
Lang Wenrong worked in Hangzhou City in his early days. He served successively as member of the Standing Committee and Secretary-General of the Hangzhou Municipal Commission for Discipline Inspection, member of the Standing Committee of the Hangzhou Municipal Committee for Discipline Inspection and Secretary of the Discipline Inspection Commission of Xiaoshan District, and deputy secretary of the Hangzhou Municipal Commission for Discipline Inspection.
In February 2017, Lang Wenrong was transferred to the Standing Committee of the Jinhua Municipal Party Committee and Secretary of the Municipal Commission for Discipline Inspection. After the reform of the national supervision system, he also served as the director of the Jinhua Municipal Supervisory Committee.
On January 18, 2021, the Organization Department of the Zhejiang Provincial Party Committee issued a pre-appointment announcement for the promotion and appointment of provincial leading cadres. Among them, Lang Wenrong is proposed to be the deputy secretary of the party committee of the districted city.
