BTS (BTS) returned home from Incheon International Airport Terminal 2 after completing the United Nations General Assembly schedule in New York, USA on the morning of the 24th.
BTS left the country on the 18th and visited New York, USA as the "President's Special Envoys for Future Generations and Culture".
After arriving in New York, BTS spoke at the opening ceremony of the 76th United Nations General Assembly "SDG Moment" with President Moon Jae-in, accepted an interview with "SDG Moment", and faithfully visited the Korean Cultural Center as " Cultural Ambassador”.
Speaking at the United Nations for the third time this year, following 2018 and 2020, BTS acted as emissaries, telling stories for future generations rather than delivering messages based on their experiences in this speech.
They spoke in English in 2018 and in English and Korean in 2020, but this time, all 7 members spoke in Korean because they had a sense of responsibility to stand on the podium as envoys of the Republic of Korea and to better convey the Korean language . The story of future generations.
Immediately after his speech, he participated in President Moon Jae-in’s UN “SDG Moment” interview, conveying his belief in the SDGs, his responsibilities as a special envoy and his expectations for fans, and shared his thoughts on communicating with future generations.
