The Meilan International Airport Station Working Group of the Haikou City Epidemic Prevention and Control Headquarters released the news: According to the notice of the Hainan Provincial Epidemic Prevention and Control Headquarters and the relevant requirements of the Haikou City Epidemic Prevention and Control Headquarters, entry will be strengthened. Notifications related to the epidemic prevention management of (returning) personnel in Qiong are as follows:
1. Airlines strengthen front-end control
(1) Passengers from non-epidemic areas. Starting from 5:00 on January 11, 2022, passengers entering (returning) from non-epidemic areas must present a negative result report of nucleic acid test within 48 hours at the departure station before they can check in.
(2) Travelers from epidemic-affected areas. Passengers entering (returning) from epidemic-related areas must have two negative nucleic acid test results within 48 hours (interval ≥ 24 hours) before they can check in.
2. Implementation control
(1) Actively cooperate with implementation inspection and control. After getting off the plane, passengers entering Qiong must present the Hainan health code, itinerary card and nucleic acid test report to the epidemic prevention staff for verification. Among them, travelers with a medium-to-high risk travel history within 14 days, travelers who have been in the country for less than 21 days, and travelers with a history of COVID-19 (positive recovery) will continue to follow Hainan Province’s current epidemic prevention policies.
(2) Actively report. Passengers must report to the community (hotel, unit) within 24 hours after entering (returning) to Qiong.
(3) Do a good job in self-health monitoring. All passengers shall conduct self-health monitoring within 14 days after entering (returning) from Qiong, and seek medical treatment in a timely manner if they feel unwell.
