Recently, Cambodian website once again received news from readers that kidnapping cases occurred equally frequently in and in Sihanoukville, with a large number of Chinese victims. The Cambodian Dan Network reporter recorded the victim’s experience, hoping to remind fellow compatriots: Do not trust unverified recruitment information, be sure to inquire from multiple sources, and stay vigilant.
The victim Xiaodu (pseudonym) used to work in the club. But the epidemic suddenly hit, the club closed, he lost his job, life became difficult, and he was ready to find a job.
In the software Telegram, he saw a lot of recruitment information, one of which said that he was recruiting for positions such as customer service and promotion, with a monthly salary of over 10,000 yuan. After consulting
, he got a clear reply from the other party: not much experience is required, the work is simple, not gambling, one day's work counts as one day's salary, etc. So, he decided to leave for the interview.
In fact, this is a trap set by the kidnapping company, and all the terms are the same. In order to deceive people, they will agree to any request.
As soon as Xiaodu arrived at his "work place", he was controlled by a group of tough men. His mobile phone was confiscated and the money in his account was transferred away. There are already many victims here who are in similar situations.
It was a building with many people on each floor. He speculated that the entire building was the territory of kidnappers or bookmakers.
He was thrown together with his tied compatriots for buyers to choose from. After the buyer pays, they take the person away directly.
"There are (gambling) companies coming here every day, and they are like buying livestock at the wet market." Xiaodu said that buyers mainly look at whether the person is smart, because when they buy them back, they are doing spinach work. At that time, the kidnappers planned to sell him for 100,000 yuan, but failed, so he was sold at a reduced price.
"I was not sold at first, so every day after I went back, they would beat me in various ways. If I was beaten too much, people would become scared."
Speaking of this, Xiaodu showed us the bruises and bruises on his body. There were blood scabs and tears welled up in his eyes. From his arms to his back, there were dense scars.
He was beaten for many days in a row, but fortunately he did not encounter "one fish eats more". In the end, he paid a large sum of money to redeem himself. He escaped from the tiger's mouth, but many compatriots are still trapped. They are either taken back and beaten every day, or bought by online gambling companies. At the same time, new people are constantly being cheated.
Xiaodu said that he is still in Cambodia and does not dare to expose too much and attract retaliation. He hopes to expose this kind of kidnapping routine and use his own personal experience to remind everyone to pay attention to it.
Before, his life in China was not easy, so he chose to come to Cambodia to work hard. Unexpectedly, he lost his job due to the epidemic this year, and accidentally fell into the hands of kidnappers. He was only one step away from the gambling company. He was exhausted mentally and physically, but still firmly chose to be exposed.
"During the epidemic, many shops were closed and many compatriots were unemployed. In order to find food, everyone will rush to find a job. I hope this matter can be promoted to the media platform to make everyone wary of this and less likely to be deceived."
