In order to solemnly commemorate the March 15 International Consumer Rights Protection Day, on March 15, the Pu'an County Market Supervision and Administration Bureau and the Pu'an County Consumer Association organized 20 departments and enterprises such as county public security, agriculture, health, postal service, and telecommunications to carry out a promotional activity in the county to commemorate the 3.

First, publicity materials were distributed on site to popularize knowledge of policies and regulations. Publicity materials such as "Selected Laws and Regulations on the Protection of Consumer Rights and Interests", "Consumer Education Guidance Manual", "Knowledge Manual on Preventing Wild Fungus Poisoning", "Food Safety Common Sense Manual", "Cosmetic Knowledge Promotion Manual", fire protection knowledge, and publicity knowledge were distributed to the general public on site to popularize knowledge of policies and regulations and basic common sense of life, and guide the general public to healthy and rational consumption.
The second is to identify fake and shoddy goods on site and enhance the public’s awareness of counterfeit prevention. Arrange front-line law enforcement personnel with rich experience to go to the event site to display counterfeit and shoddy goods to the public and explain the knowledge of identifying and identifying counterfeit goods. Educate and guide the general public to pay attention to identifying counterfeit and shoddy goods in their daily lives, actively report the operation of counterfeit and shoddy goods, and consciously form an awareness of resisting counterfeit and shoddy goods.

The third is to carry out rapid testing of edible agricultural products on-site to strengthen food safety risk prevention and control. Giving full play to the role of the rapid inspection vehicle in food safety supervision, the Pu'an County Market Supervision and Administration Bureau used the food rapid inspection vehicle to conduct random inspections of edible agricultural products sold at the county's two major farmers' markets. A total of 50 batches of edible agricultural products such as vegetables and pork were randomly inspected. The inspection results were all qualified, with a pass rate of 100%.
Fourth, we provide on-site consulting services to guide consumers in safeguarding their rights in accordance with the law. A consultation service desk was set up at the event site to receive inquiries from the general public, accept consumer complaints and reports, and explain the complaint reporting procedures and common infringements. Guide the general public to learn to use legal weapons to protect their legitimate rights and interests when consuming, and to actively complain and report to relevant functional departments when encountering infringements.

The fifth step is to focus on destroying fake and shoddy goods to deter illegal business activities. While carrying out on-site publicity activities, we will focus on destroying counterfeit and shoddy goods seized during daily supervision and inspection, centralized rectification and special management, demonstrating the high-pressure and severe crackdown on counterfeit and shoddy goods by government functional departments, and deterring the illegal business activities of a group of market entities.
Sixth, increase media publicity efforts and expand the publicity audience area. Pu'an County TV station was invited to cover the entire event, and publicity channels were expanded through the news media, indicating the state's functional departments' determination to strictly crack down on illegal business practices in the consumer market and ensure consumer safety, so that people can buy satisfactorily and eat with confidence.
In this promotional activity, a total of more than 2,000 promotional materials were distributed, 43 consumer consultations were received, more than 300 kilograms of counterfeit and shoddy goods were destroyed, and 1,600 fake and shoddy cigarettes were destroyed.
