Hyundai Express 15, under the full maintenance of the Nantong Maritime Bureau, the newly built 24,000-strong TEU super large container ship "COSCO Kawasaki 335" ship of Nantong Maritime Transportation Kawasaki Ship Engineering Co., Ltd. was successfully discharged from the dock, which is the world's largest green and environmentally friendly container ship.
It is reported that the "COSCO Kawasaki 335" ship is completely independently developed, designed and built by Nantong COSCO Shipping Kawasaki. It has the largest container ship in the world. It is also the largest container ship for the Yangtze River channel. It concentrates the technical advantages of safety, energy saving, environmental protection, and high intelligence. The total length of the wheel is 399.99 meters, with a width of 61.3 meters, and a deck area of 24,000 square meters, which is equivalent to 3.5 standard football fields. It can load a record 24,000 standard containers at a time.
Due to the large type of ship, the docking operation occupies a large area of water and takes up a long time, and the operation is at the peak of ship flow. In order to ensure the safety and stability of water traffic, the Nantong Maritime Bureau attaches great importance to it and set up a maintenance work leading group in advance, organizes expert review, formulates a traffic maintenance plan, and clarifies the work contents of traffic organization waters, time, objects, principles and measures. During the operation, the Bureau's Ship Traffic Management Center maintained close communication and contact with newly built ships and on-site escort operation ships, communicated and coordinated with Zhangjiagang, Changshu , and Taicang Maritime Bureau, jointly implemented hierarchical control of ships, and organized on-site traffic and vigilance of the operation ships, ultimately ensuring the safety of ships' docking operations. It is reported that a total of 5 coastal patrol boats, 8 high-power tugboats and 2 warning boats were dispatched for this maintenance operation.
Nantong As an important production base for the national marine engineering industry, the Nantong Maritime Bureau guaranteed a total of 66 new ships to go out of the river from January to October this year.
