Luo Yijun introduced that on the 9th, 25 new deaths were added in Taiwan, and 6 people died quickly within 2 to 3 days after being diagnosed, and another one was diagnosed after death. Luo Yijun said that the course of new coronary pneumonia changes very quickly, so there will be invisible hypoxia. Those who die before the hospital or die suddenly at home can no longer investigate what symptoms have appeared before. Currently, expert research shows that it is still because of invisible hypoxia, and there will be no obvious signs. The oxygen concentration is very low, so it is too late to be sent to the hospital urgently.
Luo Yijun said that the Taiwan authorities' epidemic command center will list infections in households as the focus of investigation this week, hoping that all confirmed cases can arrive at the hospital as soon as possible to reduce the deterioration of the condition. Luo Yijun also said that for those who are positive for the screening, I hope they can go to the enhanced centralized quarantine center or the enhanced epidemic prevention hotel. The Taiwan authorities will also distribute blood oxygen machines to them. 1,000 units have been distributed before, and another 15,000 units will be distributed on the 9th. I hope that those who are positive for the screening can take a blood oxygen machine home and detect the blood oxygen concentration at home. If the blood oxygen concentration is less than or equal to 94%, they will be sent to the hospital as soon as possible.
