In June 2011, in order to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Turkey, Shanghai International Film Festival held the "Turkish Film Week" and screened 7 excellent Turkish films.
After 10 years, in order to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Turkey, under the guidance of Shanghai Film Bureau , the Shanghai Film Distribution and Screening Industry Association will organize Shanghai Art Film Alliance from September 18 to 25, in Shanghai Cinema and Belle Palace Cinema (Lujiazui Center Store), to showcase 8 excellent Turkish movies.
It is reported that the eight films screened this time include classic works such as the "Egg and Milk Trilogy" by Turkish film master Semih Kaplanolu.

Among them, the "Egg, Milk and Honey Trilogy" copy comes with embedded Chinese subtitles, and the embedded Chinese subtitles of the other five films were produced specifically for this film exhibition by the Shanghai Film Distribution and Screening Industry Association.

"Egg" 2007

The first part of the "Egg and Honey Trilogy" by Turkish film master Semih Kaplanolu, tells the story of Joseph, the owner of the old bookstore, returned home after receiving the news of his mother's death. He met a girl, Ella, and learned that she had been caring for his mother for five years until her mother died. Ella helps Joseph fulfill his mother's last wish.
