May 18 this year is International Museum Day . Shi Hang was invited to participate in a video interview, in which he talked about his understanding of museums: "Museums can turn boring life into interesting worlds."

In the late autumn of Beijing, Guo Wei invited screenwriter Shi Hang to watch the "The Imprint of Civilization - Dunhuang Art Exhibition" together to explore the significance of the existence of cultural exhibition halls such as museums and art galleries. Do ordinary people need to do their homework before watching the exhibition? What can you get from it? How do you view the "traffic exhibition" that lowers the exhibition threshold? . "Amateur Director Guo": You often post some exhibitions you have seen on Weibo. What do you think is the meaning of watching exhibitions?
Shi Hang: , on the one hand, is to seek topics to talk and reserve some topics that can be chatted in depth. In daily conversations, what's the point if you just use online language to talk? For example, when chatting, everyone says "tied Q" and it's too simple.
In addition, I think watching an exhibition means meeting an old friend in a foreign land, because the exhibition is not my home or the environment I am familiar with, it is my foreign land and my distance.
But I suddenly saw something in the exhibition, just like I saw when I was a child, or a girl in a portrait looked like I knew. This is the old knowledge. In human art, in the middle of the paintings of Picasso , Modigliani , and in the middle of the works of Matisse , you suddenly see your class teacher. This is the reason. So as long as you remember enough things, it will definitely be confirmed in the exhibition, so it is called meeting an old friend in a foreign land.
The reason why I went to the exhibition is the same as when I bought some writers’ notes. I haven't seen the text of Hemingway . I've read a lot and read various translations, but if I have Hemingway's handwritten letters in my hand, the feeling will be different. This collection makes me feel like I have a private relationship with these celebrities, so I feel like I'm going to the exhibition.

"Amateur Director Guo": Which exhibition in will make you remember it deeply?
Shi Hang: I am still very grateful to you now. I have visited the exhibition of Guobolilev Tolstoy, which contains the clothes he wore, his bark shoes, and some particularly specific things that I care about.
For example, scholars have always said that Dostoevsky's relationship with Tolstoy, but before you see him running away from home, Dostoevsky's book was spread out on the table. This feeling is different because the book is there, and you will want to see which page he saw. Although he doesn't understand Russian at all, this sense of scene and authenticity is actually a kind of proof in his bones.
"Amateur Director Guo": Do you do a lot of homework before watching the exhibition?
Shi Hang: Many people think that this is a particularly grand thing before visiting the exhibition. They feel that they need to make many psychological presets. You are ready to do something that is particularly ritualistic.In fact, this is not the case. Seeing the exhibition is like "meeting love from the corner", turning a corner, and unexpectedly inspiring memories. No matter if you live to be 10, 20 or 30, some information and feelings you have stored will be inspired here.
Let’s take the example of “The Imprint of Civilization—Dunhuang Art Exhibition” we watched today. I have never been to Dunhuang before and have no background knowledge of Dunhuang as a prelude. Just like many friends who come to the exhibition are also particularly worried, I don’t know what to do?
actually doesn’t have to worry, nor do you have to look up information while watching the exhibition. Just soak yourself in the unfamiliar information, patterns and emotions. The value of the exhibition does not need to be measured by the authentic works
"Amateur Director Guo": In order to attract more audiences to enter the exhibition hall, in recent years, art galleries and museums will have some fashion exhibitions to make the exhibition easier and easier to understand. We call it "traffic exhibition". What do you think about lowering the threshold for exhibitions?
Shi Hang: that's pretty good, just like Wuzhen Drama Festival , if you want children to watch those deep special entertainments and classic dramas, they will feel bored. But Wuzhen Theater Festival also has street carnival activities, including clowns, magicians, etc., and people walking around carrying fish tanks. Children will be very happy to see it, so they all fall in love with each other.
Some people think that superficial exhibitions may also be happy memories that another person will preserve for the rest of his life. And there are many unique exhibitions now, which just let the audience know that there are so many kinds of things in the world, and it is very important to broaden your horizons. You are not afraid of poor ability or poor eyes.
"Amateur Director Guo": If there are ten works displayed in an exhibition, but only one is the original, and the rest are replicas, can you accept it?
Shi Hang: is acceptable. If I really want to read a work, I can even find that picture online, which will make me feel happy. For me, I must be persistent in pursuing something, which is a manifestation of slavery.
"Amateur Director Guo": Is it important for you to see the original works when watching exhibitions in ?
Shihang: Seeing the original works is not that important to me. People may have visited many museums and seen many authentic works, but those are not even important, and they are not even as important as the mobile phone in their hands. Therefore, whether important or not in life needs to be measured repeatedly, not labeled.

The Museum in the Heart is a memory that I can't bear to delete
"Amateur Director Guo": My program is called "Amateur Director Guo". Many people don't understand. What does the show that is related to the director? The reason for this is that I think everyone has a museum in their hearts, which hides the art they have seen and the knowledge they have memorized in books. I want to show the museum in my heart to everyone. Do you agree with the concept of "everyone has a museum in his heart"?
Shi Hang: can be said to be your picture folder, your album, and we even use a more desolate metaphor: your recycling bin. Because each of us has a recycling bin on our computers or mobile phones, the recycling bin must be cleaned regularly. Some things are always wanted to be cleaned, and some things are never willing to be cleaned, but time will eventually help us clean them. An exhibition we have seen may take 10 years to forget, or maybe it will be forgotten in another 10 days.
So I prefer to treat the museum in my heart as a recycling bin that I can't bear to clean for the time being. Time will help me clean it up, and I just hope to keep it for a while.
"Amateur Director Guo": If you were asked to hold an exhibition, what would you like to hold?
Shihang: There are two in . One is the history exhibition. Because I am interested in history, I want to show how people from all dynasties and periods live. Whether it is a bathhouse, a living room, or a prison or a yamen in a certain dynasty.
In this historical exhibition, anyone can experience it in an immersive way. Walking into it and looking around, it will be different from the scenes in the movies and TV series we usually watch, and it will restore all this more realistically.
There is another one I am also interested in, which is to hold an error correction exhibition called "Not so". It was inspired by two very thin books I bought when I was a child, called "Easy to Written Mistakes" and "Easy to Written Mistakes". These two books have helped me a lot, and made me understand that there are such books in the world to help you. They don’t think you are born excellent and do not make mistakes everywhere. They comfort readers with the word “easy”. So I wanted to do an exhibition that was "not so" and it felt very fun.

When it comes to the word "original intention", what do you think of first?
Shi Hang: Life is to constantly correct the priorities in one's heart, and the result after each correction is the original intention. The original intention can be corrected at any time, and this is the meaning of growth. I don’t believe in “don’t forget the original intention”. If that happens, a child’s original intention is to feed, but it is obvious that what we are thinking about recently is not.
Do you still remember what I felt when I was a screenwriter for the first time?
Shi Hang: I am a screenwriter for the first time in . I feel that I can finally make a lot of money. I am looking forward to it very much and hope to buy a computer after getting the money. The last TV series wrote 18 episodes, one episode costs 1,000 yuan, and it really bought a computer for 18,000 yuan.
And one of the most important motivations for me to write scripts at that time was that I could joke with some small characters with the names of people I knew on them, which is something I was particularly happy about. I remember that at that time I used Meng Jinghui . Later, when the TV series was actually broadcast, I changed a word called Meng Jinhui, and Beijing's "Beijing" was changed to Jinxiu.
Talk about the three things you desire most in your heart and sort them.
Shihang: Healthy, independent, and gentle.
What do you want to tell yourself most about traveling back 10 years ago?
Shi Hang: travels back 10 years ago, in 2012. I will tell myself that next year there will be something called Wuzhen Theater Festival. I will return to the team early and return to the drama circle. Don’t always think about writing TV series to make money, and relive the dramas I have learned and the dramas I have loved.
What goal do you want to achieve most in the next 10 years?
Shi Hang: In the next ten years, I hope to live a good life, only read the books I want to read, not do what I want to do, not say what I want to say, this is not going to detours in life. Further, I hope I will fight alone on the road of idleness and remain unchanged.
