Muhyiddin did not make a speech after meeting Abdullah, but held a press conference after returning home saying that he had informed the head of state that the Pakatan Harapan would not cooperate with PH . "This matter has been discussed earlier and will not cooperate with PH. This is a always-standing position, and it has not changed, and it will not agree," Muhyiddin said.
It is reported that the National Palace issued an announcement in the evening of the same day stating that 30 BN members were summoned to the palace at 10:30 am on the 23rd to continue discussing the new prime minister. In this general election, no single camp won the 112 seats threshold required to form the government.
