49-year-old Xinjiang folk peak athlete Maliyamu, whose online name is Maizi, started participating in outdoor adventures in 1996. In 2007, he climbed Tiange Peak, No. 1 glacier in Xinjiang, with an altitude of 4,562 meters, and successfully climbed the Mustague Peak, an altitude of 7,546 meters in the Pamir Plateau. She is also the assistant of the late famous mountaineer Yang Chunfeng. Yang Chunfeng was attacked by Taliban militants while climbing the ninth peak of the world on June 23, 2013 by Taliban militants. She successfully summited Mount Everest on May 20, 2016, becoming the first woman to summit Mount Everest in Xinjiang.

When talking about Yang Chunfeng, Ma Liyamu said emotionally: "Organizing a folk women's Everest mountaineer is the wish of the late famous mountaineer Yang Chunfeng during his lifetime. Our move is also to inherit his will and realize the long-cherished wish of the deceased."

Ma Liyamu said that "three battles" of Mount Everest, he passed by death twice, encountered a major earthquake and an avalanche, and finally realized his dream for the last time.
In January 2014, Mariam formed the Sherpa alpine service team in Nepal . Two months later, she established the first China independent mountaineering base camp on the southern slope of Mount Everest in Nepal and began the plan to climb Mount Everest. Unfortunately, during this climb of Mount Everest, Maliyamu encountered a major avalanche. "At that time, some personnel in the road construction team died. Out of respect for our fellow travelers, we gave up our plan to climb Mount Everest." At this point, Maliyamu's eyes were filled with tears.
In 2015, Maliyam led four women from Hong Kong, Yunnan, Sichuan and Shanghai to climb Mount Everest again. This climb encountered a 8.1 magnitude earthquake and avalanche in Nepal, and she herself was seriously injured. "That year was not only giving up, but also having casualties. When I was rescued, I was dug out of the snow and all my left ribs were broken." Maliyamu said. This time she broke four ribs, bleeding from the spleen and kidneys, pelvic congestion, torn bone in her left ankle, and blood on both sides of her back. Maliyamu's father said: "She doesn't want to give up climbing, so I, the one who is a father, can only support me with all my strength."
In 2016, Maliyamu led the team again and headed towards Mount Everest. At 2 a.m. on May 19, on the way to 8,516 meters of the first round of Luozifeng , when climbing to 8,450 meters, a guide from the road construction team was in danger. Everyone had to give up the first round of LOzifeng climbing and had to retreat to C2 camp for rest. On May 20, Mariam successfully climbed Mount Everest at an altitude of 8844.43 meters, fulfilling her dream for many years.
In 2017, Maliyam led the Sherpa guide in the mountaineering team to give mountaineering culture speeches in 8 cities in China, allowing ordinary outdoor enthusiasts to get close to Sherpa guides - the world's best professional alpine guide group.
Recently, Maliyamu is preparing for the third trip to the south slope of the Chinese folk women's Mount Everest in 2019. She said: "You must be as full of love as the predecessors in the mountaineering world and climb to the top of your life."
