Selected 2020 classic picture book list
1
"Game of the Brave"
masterpiece of
982 Cadillac Gold Award . The movie of the same name shot in Hollywood is also very exciting.
Judy and Peter were playing an ordinary chess piece game, but when Peter's chess piece fell into the "Lion Attack" square, a real big lion appeared! What the hell is going on?
The most terrifying thing is that once the game starts, it cannot be stopped!
Author Alsberg is a great dreammaker and an unparalleled master of surrealism painting.
His delicate and realistic pencil sketches form a sharp contrast with his wild imagination, and are strangely harmonious and harmonious.
This makes his works both have both the profound reality of reality and the wonderful and lightness of imagination.
2
" Going to the sky and searching for people "
004 Cadillac Gold Award work , adapted from a real story, a legend that makes people cry.
French acrobatic artist Philip Pat pulled a steel cable between the Gemini Building in New York. He walked, danced, and performed various performances for an hour.
picture book completely reproduces this legend, and all kinds of pictures like movie shots are shocking.
The painter also cleverly designed two pull pages: horizontal pull pages, leading readers to walk in the air together; vertical pull pages, further highlighting the fantastic height and distance of the Gemini Building.
If you want to discuss with your child what "dream" and "courage" is, then this book is very suitable.
3
"Xiao Hiroshi and the Tiger Bed"
International Andersen Award winner No Eiko picture book works. The author vividly depicts the mood of the older children in the second child family.
A special night when I finally chatted with my mother alone, but my mother accidentally fell asleep because she was too tired to take care of her sister during the day. Xiao Guang's mouth was pouting high.
However, when my sister encountered danger, Xiao Guang stood up without hesitation!
This is the sense of responsibility and happiness as a sister! I'll show this book to Dingdang, and he can still resonate with it from the book.
I also shared the author's "One Two One Zoo", which is also very interesting.
4
"Shana wants to act in a circus"
Shana has long wanted to act in a circus. She is good at everything when flying people in the air, taming lions and slewing circles, and playing clowns to make everyone laugh.
On this day, the circus finally came. Shanna couldn't wait to pack her luggage and ran away...
Can she realize her dream?
However, if you want to act in a circus, the time and sweat will be much more than Shana imagined.
No one likes to experience failure, but on the road to chasing dreams, it is also important to learn how to smile in adversity .
Story text is relatively large, and it is recommended that children aged 4+ should read it.
5
"Belle Girl"
You may not have heard of Belle Girl, but you must have heard of " Lettuce Girl " (also known as " Long Hair Girl ")
This famous fairy tale was once widely circulated in Western Europe and has appeared in many versions.
Picture Book Master Zelinsky took the essence of each text, took the beautiful bellflower as a symbol of the long-haired girl, and reinterpreted this ancient story from his own unique perspective.
Zelinsky's style is very retro . The dynamic expression of the characters, the skin feeling, the undulating folds of clothes like waves, the flashes on the nails, and the light falling on the leaves are all presented in detail on the picture, as if they were famous paintings from the Renaissance.
A work with very high artistic value. If you want to cultivate children's art cells, you might as well try this book. Every frame of the picture can be appreciated as a famous painting.
6
" Stone Soup "
A book full of Chinese elements, the story is very Zen.
Three monks cooked stone soup in the village. The originally stingy villagers gradually joined the team of sharing, and in the end everyone felt the power of generosity.
Author Joan Mutter tells a story about sharing , with a profound meaning, thought-provoking, and completely undoctrinated. The joy brought by sharing and generosity is naturally filled with joy.
The clear and spiritual watercolor paintings blend with the story is great, and it is hard to imagine that an American author understands Eastern culture so much.
7
"Suhe's White Horse"
For me, it is a very shocking book. Whether in terms of stories or illustrations, the representative work of the winner of the International Andersen Award Painter Award, Mo Yoshi Akaba, uses a rare large-scale horizontal opening version of , and perfectly displays the majestic grassland with the endless horizon.
On the vast grassland, the young Su He and grandma also have a little white horse depend on each other. Su He won the first place in the horse racing conference, but the prince stole his white horse and injured Su He... Can Su He take back his little white horse?
The color use of picture books is also very particular. The changes in color light and darkness not only reflect the protagonist's mood, but also symbolize their destiny and promote the development of the story.
The folk legend of the horse-head fiddle is kind, bravery, loyalty, these beautiful qualities flowing in the blood of our nation are rendered and tear-jerking in Akaba Matsuki's writing.
Although it is not an original picture book in China, the spiritual core of this book is "China".
8
" Sometimes meatballs are placed on cloudy days "
The story takes place in a super cute town-bajibaji Town .There is no raindrops when it rains here, and no snowflakes when it snows. What comes is not just a simple wind - all kinds of delicious food fall from the sky.
and the weather forecast is also the menu for the second day. Isn't
too interesting? When Dingdang reads, he extends a lot of his imagination.
This is a brain-opening work, and there are so many delicious foods, which child wouldn’t like it?
9
"Big Bear in the Forest"
representative work by international Andersen Award winner York Miller, a fable work of on environmental protection .
When the forest was replaced by a factory, Big Bear was forced to become a worker. Can he adapt to this kind of life? How should a real bear live?
York Miller integrates self-cognition and social development into this fable, guiding children to feel serious issues and think deeply. There is no standard answer to the
question, but the habit of thinking will blossom and bear fruit in the small heart like a seed.
The book has a rich core and is very suitable for discussion when reading together with parents and children. The diversified society faced by children in the future requires them to have the stronger thinking ability of .
0
" The Secret of Qise Mountain "
Lin Mingzi, who is very popular among mothers, tells you this time a little girl's fantasy journey. She travels through the bizarre mountains and forests, talks with plants and creatures, and finally gains a lot of courage and wisdom!
In addition to the story being close to the good hearts of children, her pictures are also as delicate and warm as ever.
Seven-colored mountains are shining, rivers are gurgling, waterfalls are singing in the mountains, trees are rustling, and gently shaking with the wind... It brings us into the animation world of Miyazaki Hayao .
1
"Kafka's Transformation"
Kafka's " Transformation " children's version, this is a story about love, neglect and self-identity.
The little boy Kafka woke up and found himself turning into a big brown and purple beetle.
However, no one noticed that he was deformed - his parents, his little sister, his teacher - except for his good friend Michael .
Why did he become a beetle? Why don’t everyone notice it?
This absurd story tells all parents: we think we take care of our children in every detail, but we often ignore their true needs.
is becoming increasingly discovered that some picture books are written for adults, not for children.
As a parent, sometimes I have to examine myself three times a day: Have I really "saw" my child today?
2
" An old lady swallowed a fly "
Another Cadillac Award masterpiece, adapted from folk ballads, the language is very rhythmic, and it is very suitable for children to read aloud.
An old woman swallowed a fly, and then she swallowed the spider to catch flies, swallowed the birds to catch spiders, swallowed the cats to catch birds, swallowed the dogs to bite cats, swallowed the cows to chase dogs, and swallowed another horse...
The author was very creative in choosing the creative techniques of tearing paper, collage and hollowing holes, and there were surprises every time he turned the page.
3
"Hello, Lighthouse"
019 Cadill Gold Award Work.
At the end of the world, there is a lighthouse standing. From dusk to dawn, the lighthouse emits light. As the seasons pass day after day, the wind blows, and the fog rolls in...
The life scroll of the tower guardians is also gradually unfolding in front of us.
Poetic works fully demonstrate the contrast between human beings' insignificance relative to nature, a short life and the eternal time.
4 "Edward, the most terrifying boy in the world"
5 "My Secret Friend Ad"
Both works are from John Berningham. They have also given special topics for this picture book master
John Berningham.
John Berningham is very good at exploring the inner world of children and respecting their wild ideas.
"Adult Who Can't See the Children" is a classic image in Benningham's works.
The criticism and accusations of adults not only did not help, but also made Edward worse and worse.
When encouragement and praise replace criticism, a miracle happened:
"The most terrifying boy" becomes "The most adorable boy", which is the power of language .
Some people say that Beningham is "the picture book writer who knows children's imagination the best."
This is true, he can always capture the fantasies and expectations deep in his heart.
Who doesn’t want to have a loyal and reliable friend in childhood who will always be with us?
Secret friend Ade may only exist in the little boy's fantasy, but this fantasy brings children a sense of security and strength.
6 "Great Step"
7 "Salt in Shoes"
8 " Boy who loves reading "
9 "Observer: The Life of Jane Goodall and Chimpanzee"
These books are inspired by the inspiration of my favorite biography picture book series
What is the magic of this set of celebrity biographies .
Reading changes destiny-Lincoln
If you have a dream, go and realize it-Armstrong
Life never lets down people who work hard-Jordan
For children of this age, the power of role models is endless.
Whether it is Lincoln who changes his destiny by reading, Armstrong, the dream-chasing astronaut, or Jordan who works hard.
Their spirit of hard work, perseverance, broad-minded attitude towards life, and tireless pursuit of a career that loves all encourage the children.
0
" Train to the Distance "
The power of touching is always from reality.
The story of "The Train to the Distant" is based on the United States in the 1850s. A large number of orphans arrived on trains in rural areas in the Midwest and were adopted by families who had never met before.
In the story, the psychological description of "I" is very detailed, allowing readers to follow "I" to long for the appearance of adopters, the loneliness left alone, the nervousness of waiting to meet with the new family, and the peace of mind after being accepted are fully expressed.
Speaking of picture book master Yves Bunting, her works generally choose relatively grand social issues: war, famine, orphans, riots, immigration, death...
But Yves Bunting can always start from very small events and ordinary people's lives, turning grand issues into concrete and touching good stories. This is the most important quality of a good author, and it is very suitable for children who are learning to write.
1
"The Sky is Under the Feet"
993 Cadill Gold Award Work.
This is a story about 's courage and dreams , and it is also a story about achieving with each other.
With the help of the wire rope master Bellini, the little girl became an excellent tightrope walking actor; and Bellini also regained her love for her dream under the infection of the little girl and no longer feared falling from the wire.
The picture runs like a movie montage, the emotions rendered by watercolors and the magnificent scenes are touching, and are good works worth watching again and again.
Compared to the legendary nature of "Walking at the Sky", the story of "Sky Under the Feet" is more tender. I hope that every child who pursues his dreams can meet the person who achieves each other with you. That is the greatest luck in our life.
2
"Dance"
A picture book that almost moved Dingdang to cry: the daughter who likes dancing doesn't know, her father has been watching her all the time, from playing a corn when she was a child, to being a beautiful and excellent ballet dancer on the stage, to being in love and getting married, and having her own home.
Dad kept looking at her with a smile...
The pictures are very realistic and delicate, just like a photographic work. The expressions and actions of the characters are very vivid, and all of this makes the whole story more real and moving.
In fact, this story is indeed true. It is completed by several fathers together to commemorate a daughter whom his father lost unexpectedly.
The figure of the father never appears in the book, but we all know that he is there, smiling and staring at his daughter.
3
"Grandpa Wolf"
990 Cadill Gold Award, the author is Yang Zhicheng, a master of Chinese picture book. He is very good at connecting traditional Chinese elements with the international community and bringing readers a novel feeling.
A long time ago, whenever my mother went out, the wolf grandma would knock on the door. Can Ashan, A Tao and Baozhu see through the wolf grandma's conspiracy?
The painter uses the characteristics of chalk rendering to lengthen the animal's animal jump distance, as if breathing the smell of wild wolf infestation. The strong contrast between light and dark tones makes people feel chilling and weird.
probably no one has heard of this story, but Yang Zhicheng gave it a new feeling, and the style of painting has broken our "regular aesthetics".
But the children's performance in solving difficulties with wisdom is amazing, and it is especially suitable for children to provide security education .
4
"Into the Garden of Life"
Very poetic book. The child observes the world from his island, and he sees oceans, forests, tears, wars and famines...
The child imagines the disasters and imperfections in the world, and also imagines what to do for this world full of flaws. He lists a long list of the beauty and ugliness of the world...
Big red, blue, golden... The painter boldly uses these emotional colors to depict painful events such as war and famine and death, so that readers can embrace hope from despair, embrace joy, anger, sorrow and happiness, and embrace every possibility in life.
style is very bold and avant-garde, and the kernel of the story is even more pioneering in .
The author is unwilling to let his children live in a greenhouse. He boldly unveiled the real cruel side of the world to his children, allowing them to face the difficulties of life with courage and a positive attitude.
I think that only in this way can children truly grow up. This is a type of book I will focus on choosing for children.
5
"You send roses, what do I send? 》
This is a love letter to a book, telling the children about the origin of "World Reading Day" and the happiness and power that reading brings us.
00 years ago on April 23, Cervantes in Spain, Shakespeare in the UK, and Galciraso de La Vega from Peru died one after another. On November 15, 1995, UNESCO officially designated April 23 as "World Reading Day".
The form of this book is very interesting, and it uses drama to popularize the origin of "World Reading Day" for children.
This year, 4.23. If you want to experience the charm of reading with your children, this book is a good choice.
6
"Beagle on the Grassland"
An ordinary late autumn day, the grass has already withered and yellow, and the weather has gradually become colder.
After experiencing a difficult birth, the puppies have grown into lively Mongolian hunting dogs with different personalities from their children's small hands.
If you have been moved by the fragility and tenacity of life in "Twelve Puppies", then don't miss this new work. In the new work of
, Heihe and Jiuer continue to write the story of the growth of twelve puppies, taking us to feel the warmth and joy in ordinary daily life together.
More than 200 "dogs" appear in the picture. Each puppy has a different shape. Like a child, he has his own unique personality. The pictures of the painter Jiuer are really too delicate, I like it!
7
"Song of a Small Tug"
Picture books jointly created by Nobel Prize winners of Literature and the International Andersen Prize Illustrators' Award winners are rare in this year's picture books.
In 1972, Brodsky was forced to leave his motherland, traveling across the ocean to the United States. In 1987, Brodsky won the Nobel Prize in Literature and became the youngest writer to win the Nobel Prize.
"Song of a Small Tugboat" is a touching love song dedicated to his motherland and hometown - St. Petersburg. With such warmth, he confessed to his hometown, confessing to his hometown where he hoped to return but could not go back in the end.
This picture book is a masterpiece worth collecting in terms of both literary and artistic nature.
8
"A clever fish"
A long time ago, in a very deep sea... there was a small fish! He is not the giant fish, nor the bravest fish, but the smartest fish.
What he wants to do most is to go on a walk on land. But everyone knows that fish cannot walk on land...is it really impossible?
The first time I saw a picture book, I can tell the evolutionary history of so vividly and interestingly.
At the same time, this book also inspires children who love to dream. They still have dreams. What if they come true?
9
" Donkey turns into a stone "
970 Cadill Gold Award work, and is also a famous work of William Stark .
In order to avoid the ferocious lion, the donkey turned into a stone, but he couldn't change it back.
The parents who lost the donkey brother were very sad, but they never gave up looking for the donkey brother.
Finally, the deep family affection broke the curse. In the end, the donkey broke through the obstacles in his body and the family reunited.
When I read that my donkey and my parents recognize each other, my eyes were moist every time. At this moment, the donkey waited for a long time. When he returned to the warm embrace of his family again, the family also had a deeper understanding of happiness.

"Three Robbers"
Three Robbers carried a big red axe, wore a black hat and a black cloak, only revealing a pair of white eyes, and emerged from the night like three terrible ghosts. The sky behind them was strangely blue.
What kind of sinful acts will three robbers in black do in such a dark night?
Tommy Wenger 's works have always been famous for their slightly humorous style in the darkness, while "Three Robbers" chooses a bold and weird color combination - a combination of black, blue and red, which renders a suspenseful and horrifying atmosphere.
But the final ending makes people laugh. After all, love can defeat all terrifying magic!
1
"Pumpkin Soup"
999 Kate Greenway Award work.
Three good friends, duck, cat and squirrel, can work together to make the best pumpkin soup in the world. However, one day, three good friends quarreled and a funny farce was staged.

2
"Late King"
Little boy John Parker McCansey (This name Dingdang can be said easily, which shows his like) is always late, but every time it is because he encounters an incredible thing on the road. He told the teacher that the teacher not only does not believe it but also punishes him.
Again and again, the little boy was not late in the end, but this time the teacher encountered something incredible. The teacher asked the little boy to save him, and it was John Picromon McCansey's turn to leave.
This story is very ironic .
Lying may be something that happens during the growth of every child, but we adults should not always expose and scold children, but should find the truth of the matter.
We trust our children and will naturally gain the trust of our children.
3
" Library Lion "
A lion came to the library, which scared everyone, but the children liked him very much and thought he was the most comfortable cushion.
Lion likes to listen to stories very much. In order to come to the library to listen to stories every day, he abides by the rules and is quiet and helps the director.
One day, something happened, and the lion who had been following the rules and quiet suddenly roared...
In this book, there are many profound meanings.
Through the story, children can establish the concept of following the rules and regulations in , but they can be flexible and flexible according to the situation. The lion in the story is a good lion who can repay kindness. Learning to be grateful is also worth reflecting on.

"June 29, 1999"
The masterpiece of picture book master David Wisner who won the Cadick Award.
New Jersey girl Holly, conducted a scientific experiment where she launched many vegetable seeds into space.
Unexpectedly, huge cabbage, cucumber, broccoli, and red pepper suddenly appeared in the sky...
The surrealism of the pictures and the "news accent" of the text are in sharp contrast. The two elements of "science" and "fantasy" complement each other in David Wisner's works.
Super imaginative ! Reading his book is really like watching a wonderful science fiction blockbuster.
6
"Jerry's Calm Space"
The little boy Jerry broke the pottery bowl he made for his father's birthday because of a fall. He got angry after returning home.
Under the guidance of his mother, he established his own "calm space" and learned how to control his temper.
This is a very practical emotional management picture book .
What should I do if a child loses his temper? Don't rush to deny or criticize.
This book is suitable for children and for parents to read. It can help children learn emotional management and also allow parents to better understand the role and methods of "calmness". It is a useful supplement to "positive discipline".

One day, the boat of Fein and Kara brothers rushed to Kirishima by the surging waves, but found...
The secret of the world is always in the hands of children, because they are braver than adults.
Some books are so exciting when children read, but adults feel confused. Perhaps it is because we are not as curious, brave as they are, and willing to explore the world.
However, while encouraging children to take risks, don’t forget to remind them to be safe.
8
"Hello, hello"
Do you know? Every existence in the world, such as colors, lines, patterns, forms, animals, humans, etc., is closely connected to each other.
"Hello, Hello" uses the beautiful "animal collar" method, from black and white to colorful, from simple to complex, from around you to the world, progressing layer by layer, and explaining the mystery and philosophy of the grand world with colorful animals.
A book in a very strange form. After a closer look, it turned out to be the author of " They all saw a cat ". No wonder he is so imaginative.
The author is very creative in connecting the connection between all things in the world with "hello".
Through this book, children can clearly and vividly feel the relationship between themselves and the world.

Have you heard him shouting at you, "Mom and Dad, go home early today"? Have you ever seen them move a small stool and sit at the door waiting for you? Have you ever felt the joy he threw himself into your arms when he entered the house?
The theme of "Waiting for Dad to Go Home" can allow children to find resonance in the story well and understand the difficulty of hard work of Dad. In fact, not only to let the children, but after I read with Dingdang, I will also feel moved in my heart. We should cherish and be grateful for the happy life I have.

His life is a book he wrote himself... But a hurricane destroyed everything, including the book written by Morris... However, the power of books will save everything.
Helbers said: "If there is heaven, it must be the way the library is."
Reading is our spiritual refuge, and every soul can be redeemed when reading.
When Mr. Morris turned his life into a book, so that he could last forever, people and books were perfectly unified.
"Magic Flying Book" is the last book on this book list and the one I want to recommend to all the children the most.
Because, reading makes our limited lives infinitely wonderful.
Danma chants
I have always felt that children have limited time, so they have to read and study the best. I especially like to pay for picture books, because good picture books are really made by the author with all his thoughts. The depth of the story and the artistic nature of the illustrations are very impressive. I bought a lot more than these single picture books last year. I chose these ones only in a thousand ways. I can’t say that every book is the best, but at least it is a fine product.
Actually, I have read many books in the article very early, but after reading it again, I have a deeper understanding of the fun and profound meaning of the book. If possible, it is recommended that you collect each book for your child to read. Of course, we don’t have it, so we can buy it online.
