"There is actually a Great Wall Marathon. The Great Wall is a wonder of the world. Even if you have been there, you have never run on it. Should we form a team to run together?" Runners who were practicing running on the sports field were excitedly suggesting.
can't be said to be a hero in the Great Wall, but there are a lot of stairs, tens of thousands of steps up and down. If you really want to run, you have to make a long-term plan. There are too many road running activities that runners push pits on weekdays, so everyone just passes by talking and laughing, and don't take it seriously.
After a long time, the "Empress Dowager" who had studied in Beijing raised this topic again during a chat and volunteered to help everyone arrange the itinerary. Someone was willing to arrange it, so everyone began to think seriously. They thought that the difficulty was too high and it was denied. Unexpectedly, ten runners decided to go with them in the end, which was completely unexpected.
If you want to run fast, you can run alone.
If you want to run far, just run in a group of people.
Many runners don’t know each other since they started running and can run together. Some of them know each other because they participate in road running activities, and some because they often run in the same place. After meeting each other for a long time, they will meet each other. Because there is no formal self-introduction, they often get nicknames. Everyone only knows that each other loves to run, and as for their wealth and background, they are not important.
I am Jiang Yanliang, the founder of "Jianghu Run Hall", nicknamed "Fada". "The Queen Mother" is my wife and the first promoter to promote the running world. My surname is Jiang and the Queen Mother's surname is Hu, so familiar runners often call us "Jianghu". In the early running group training, I planned the route and tried the running, and then joined freely after the event was initiated. The "Empress Dowager" volunteered to help make supplies and take care of the bags. Everyone came to run purely, and had no interest, and the meeting ended after the run. Therefore, we often laughed at calling ourselves a modern runner that specializes in serving runners, which is also the origin of the name of the "Jianghu Run Hall".
Recalling the official participation in the first road running race in 2008, the "Empress Dowager" helped me sign up because the designer sat for too long at work. As he got older, his waist became wider and wider. He would drink some wine occasionally when he was socializing. It was really difficult to maintain the spirit and physical strength of work without exercise. Although I love outdoor sports very much and find time to climb and exercise every week, she always felt that it was too dangerous to hang rock climbing in the air and hoped that I would be more at ease, so she hid it and helped me sign up for the road running race without telling me.
Did the "Empress Dowager" just sign up for me? The world is dangerous, and it would be great if things are so simple. The Queen Mother signed up for all the colleagues in the design department. Now, as the design director, she can only take the lead in making an example without retreating!
Want to practice running?
First start with changing your living habits
Running is not big or small. If you want to run well, you have to practice running. This principle is like going to bed early and getting up early, and it is as shallow as it is, but it is difficult to do it. When you get out of complicated design work every day, you are exhausted, especially when the client's manuscript is urgent and the case is too tight, it is normal to work overtime or stay up late to get the manuscript. It is probably after 10 o'clock in the evening to be able to go out for a run.
However, all walks of life have their own hardships. If you want to find time to practice running, you can only start to adjust your practice. Start by running after get off work and try to change to running in the morning. If you can't run in the morning, try to go out to practice running in the absence of work. Although you are a supervisor for a long working hours, the advantage is that you can freely allocate time, so you can finally maintain the basic weekly running volume.
Change your lifestyle and integrate running into your daily work gap. This is the first major change brought about after starting running. Time is limited and work is unlimited. Every day is a brand new challenge. If you cannot make good use of time and cannot maintain the number of running times, then once time passes, it will pass, and practicing running is just empty talk after all.

After running the first road run, I felt that I was not doing well enough, so I began to think about how to practice running next. I searched for training schedules online, paced running, interval running, Yasuo 800, everything came. In regular speed test runs, 5K average speed can be run within 5 minutes. If you are fast, you can run more than 4 minutes per kilometer. This is a progress, but you have also started to get injured. As long as you practice running, the ITB on the outside of the knee will hurt, and the ankle will also start to hurt after a long distance. After running, you always need to apply ice or apply anti-inflammatory patches to recover. Injury, rest and practice cycle repeatedly.
While being injured, the accompanying risk is that you have signed up for several more events, including half-marathon. Should you stop practicing? Or practice with pain? Sometimes I will stop practicing for a few days, or stop practicing for a week and observe and rest, but after that, I often just start practicing intensity, and the pain will easily recur.
In the training of injury running, half-marathon and full horse were quickly completed within a year. In September 2009, the Chuma Menghua Marathon, after running the ankle for 3 days, the second Sun Moon Lake Marathon the next month, which was a mountain road horse, and still felt uncomfortable after running the ankle. Then, the third Taipei Marathon in December, the whole horse ran into Sub4. After running a few marathons the next year, he ran a personal best score of 3’42”. I thought it would be faster, and I could start to challenge the next goal 330, and then... the most numb plantar sarcotomitis came.
2008, at the age of 37, he participated in the 10K road run for the first time.
2009, at the age of 38, completed 3 Half-machine and 3 full-machine games, full-machine Sub4.
2010, 39 years old, his grades continued to improve, but the pain always overturned.
Sole sarcotomitis is really troublesome. In severe cases, it will hurt when you get out of bed or walk. I began to think about the meaning of running to me from a different angle? If it is for the pursuit of health, then how to do it better for the body? I decided to reduce the amount of running first, and change to other exercises, such as walking in the swimming pool or stepping on a fitness bike, first conditioning the injury and stay away from the vicious cycle of running injuries.
I started to slow down and run with the feeling of my body, instead of running with the schedule and pace. If the climate is comfortable and the body feels good, run faster. If the body feels a little bit forced, slow down. I deliberately didn't look at the watch, didn't want to pace, and just focused on "enjoying" the thing I was running.
After doing cross-exercise training and running easily for half a year, I didn't see a doctor specifically. ITB, ankle joint, plantar sarcoiditis and other problems disappeared one by one. Although the results are far away from me, in order to relieve work pressure, I returned to adjust my body shape and physical fitness through exercise. I am a designer. I left the seat and ran into the world from the air conditioner room to feel the throbbing of nature, to feel the breath that allows me to exist, between the exhalation and inhalation when running.
2011, at the age of 40, I don't want to run anymore and get injured. I want to run and change my health.

If the spirit of marathon is to stick to the end, then I should not only think about one event, but whether I can run to the last moment of my life.
Running continues, work continues, and the Queen Mother and I also continues. Can running, work and tourism be combined? Reading thousands of books is not as good as traveling thousands of miles. Perhaps running a marathon is also a good way to travel around the world.
My "World Break" and I proposed an idea. We decided to start a plan to travel around the world. We are not in a hurry to finish it all in one go. What we want to do is a deep running trip, a trip that runs all over the world with a marathon. We give it a name called "World Break".
It was in 2013 that we had run many overseas marathons before that. The first was the Tokyo Marathon in 2010. After the goal of "breaking the world", we tried to concentrate things together as much as possible. For example, when we went to Osaka, we ran the Osaka Marathon by the way. When we travel overseas, we tried to combine the local marathon. The world is very big, and there are many places that may only go once in this life, so we cherish every opportunity to travel.
10 years, we have traveled to many cities in China, Japan, South Korea, Thailand, the United States, France, the United Kingdom, Greece , Italy, Germany, Austria, Switzerland , Belgium , Netherlands , Luxembourg , Czech , Dubai , Turkey, New Zealand, Australia, Guam, Hawaii, Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan..., and the "World Break" journey is still in progress.
2017, at the age of 46, we ran more than 20 countries and more than 90 marathons. There are also marathon trips in Spain and South Africa in the second half of the year. Now, we use the Yue Run Circle to record every running moment, make good use of technology to record a happy and fulfilling marathon life, and the designer's exercise plan that is unintentional to plant willows has rich memories worth a lifetime.
Running life, learn while doing, the story of each runner is different. Ten people, ten colors, hundreds of horses, and running out of your own life is the most important thing. No matter how you want to run, as long as you can enjoy it, you can enjoy other sweet and bitterness. After all, the scenery along the way can only be savored by yourself on the track. This is the happiness of being a runner and a treasure of life that requires constant efforts!
