"hey, let me ask you, why do you say Taiwan is a ghost island?"

"Business is deserted and mainland tourists are not coming. The economy is depressed. The salary is so low and the prices are high. A cup of papaya milk tea 60 yuan NT$ I really can't afford to drink it!"

"Blue and green fight, oh what we call public opinion is just the best weapon for politicians to seek benefits"

"The government's efficiency in handling things is poor, it is very bad, like the typhoon came yesterday, but it only took half a day off"

Treasure Island Taiwan?

I have been reading since I was a child. When the word "Taiwan" appeared in textbooks in mainland China, it was decorated like this: the beautiful treasure island of Taiwan, with rich resources and pleasant climate.

Sun Moon Lake is the largest lake in Taiwan.

It is on the mountain near Taichung . It is surrounded by mountains and lush trees, and there are many scenic spots and historical sites around it. There is a song circulating on Sun Moon Lake: Alishan girl, as beautiful as water, Alishan teenager, as strong as a mountain...

Therefore, our impression of Taiwan is no less than that of our longing for developed regions such as Japan and South Korea: unique scenery and highly developed social civilization.

This year is my third year of living in Taiwan. If I don’t go to , Facebook , and don’t read the reports, the Taiwan I see is still very charming.

I have lived in Taitung Luye Xiao for a while. The transportation there is inconvenient and there are few taxis, because Taitung 9th line passes through the whole township, and the trucks passing by become my "bus".

Once I met an uncle who delivered goods. On a whim, I asked me if I wanted to deliver goods with him. After delivery, I became my tour guide and took me to the attractions hidden in Luye.

He drove me to play for two hours. When I came out of the famous Red Leaf Baseball Memorial, the two dark and red mountain pork sausages that my uncle placed on his seat were still steaming.

Another time I was lost in the alley of Taipei’s nine-curved and eighteen-turn alley.

I asked my mother-in-law how to walk on the road while sitting in a rocking chair basking in the sun. The mother-in-law hurriedly put away the chair and looked like a child.

"Wait for me after (oh), I'll search for (collapse) the chair."

"There are four (this) alleys fifty-nine, and behind (oh),...ah, where is it?"

"It should be in this direction... Boy, are you going slower?"

I was very anxious at that time. I called my classmates to ask the direction and looked for the way. When I found it, I found that my mother-in-law was always behind me, bent down and gasping:

"Date (find)? Just get the dates"

Ghost Island Taiwan?

"Some netizens will complain more extremely about the fact that Taiwan's news stations are full of garbage, so I browsed these people's Facebook graffiti walls and found that what these people pay attention to and share is also garbage."

Once my Taiwanese friend said this.

searched for the recent popular "supportive sexual assault case" incident on Facebook. After reading a few "likes" comments below, I realized what "chilling" is.

comments are mostly clever personal attacks. They seem funny and actually cruel. It is hard to imagine that the people who say these words are students of about the same age as theirs: they pass by each other in their daily life, and it seems that you are just an ordinary college student, but they speak loudly under the mask of the Internet.

But when you open their Facebook and find that they are all boring questions or reposting violent videos, and occasionally scolding a few XXX to modify, it is not difficult to understand that they have such wording.

They like to look at negative things and say negative things. They are often these people who like to claim to mock how bad Taiwan is and how "ghost island" it is.

This is no big deal, after all, everyone can have different ideas.

But they didn't realize that they themselves are the source of the ghost island.

When society loses the tolerance and generosity it should have, is full of opposition, and is in conflict and criticism, "Ghost Island" appears at the moment.

"Taiwan, a once beautiful treasure island, was once full of love everywhere, but now it has become a "ghost island" in the basic hatred of the basic evolution (radicalize) heart.

"Actually, what kind of ghost is there? "Ghost Island" originates from anger, hatred, and ungrateful heart, and then politics becomes a "political machine". The treasure island becomes a "ghost island", but the initiator is not the object of anger, hatred, and hatred that is to be defeated. And it is precisely his "demonized" greed. ”

Our teacher in the journalism department said this after the incident of the major sexual assault.

opposition makes people feel more hatred, and then they use more emotional words to ridicule others on the Internet.

But doing this will not solve the problem, it will only make the problem and conflict more intense.

When the female student from the University of Assistant University came out to apologize, netizens made harsh words and blamed the Department of Psychology for forcing pressure on the students.

However, apology is not not a bad thing.

If all the people involved in the incident can reflect on themselves and admit their mistakes under the guidance of female classmates, the department head will admit their mistakes, the male classmates will admit their mistakes, and netizens will admit their mistakes, and everyone will reflect on whether they have done things inappropriately.

I don’t know if I know the truth about the entire auxiliary sexual assault case. Perhaps everyone cannot be 100% sure, because the messages we accept have been chewed by the media and may also be screened by the parties involved.

But there is one thing I know very well: In a society, everyone is willing to reflect on themselves and stand up and admit that they have mistakes, and conflicts will not happen.

Even if you are onlookers, you can think about why this happened? Are we not doing enough? What do we do?

Thinking about it, the college girl’s admission of mistakes should inspire us to feel more ashamed and repent, rather than more abuse. After all, we all have a responsibility when living in society.

This does not mean that we have to escape/turn a blind eye to negative information. We pay attention to these events to understand that there are many unpleasant things in Taiwan.

We can be depressed or angry, but we can't get out of control, which makes society full of hostility.

is not disappointed, with the inclusive, reconciliation and kind heart that Taiwanese people have always been very valuable and admired, and use wisdom to find solutions.

Treasure IslandTaiwan

Last night, I saw a friend forwarding a video, roughly saying that a college student was waiting for the meal for too long and had a conflict with the breakfast shop owner. In the

video, college students cursed the Three Character Classic and threw the money on the table when they paid. Netizens were very angry after watching the video:

"You are still in college. Does your mother know you are like this?"

"Shame! I can't help but spit on you!"

I saw my friend searched for the college student's Facebook and name, posted it in the comments, and privately scolded him, hoping that he would delete it.

"Why should I delete it?" he asked me.

"Well... the college student's attitude towards the boss is a little worse, but after the meat search, everyone knows who he is. What if the boss doesn't hire him when he works? What should I do if the relationship with classmates is affected?..."

"Okay, I admit that I was a little angry... Oh, I feel sorry for uncle too!"

"Well... Uncle's store may also be famous for this incident, and the business is better!"

"Haha, it's a blessing to Sai Weng lose his horse, but he just saw that everyone is cold now..."

"Then enhance the sunshine on your body and warm others!"

bad economy, bad politics, and bad life are actually all because of yourself.

assumes your social responsibilities and think about what you want to do to save Taiwan. Only by truly loving Taiwan. If you are good, Taiwan will be fine.

Keep warm in your heart, touching yourself and others, Taiwan will always be a beautiful Taiwan.
