I have always claimed to be a "professional reader" because I have been engaged in book editing for many years. Reading manuscripts and reading is your job, and there is no discount on the "right" - although you have a lot of "idle" in your spare time, "rightlele" must be guaranteed. But reading "Zhengqi'er" is not a pleasure, but often it is actually a painful thing, because what you want to edit and publish does not necessarily happen to be what you like.
, and interest reading is different. Starting completely from one's own interests and without utilitarianism, it can be called a true "pleasant reading".
Looking back on the past 2017, although my desire to "interest in reading" cannot be said to have been completely satisfied, it is at least much better than in the past years. In 2017, there were not many books published by a small publishing company that I hosted, but each one almost made me unable to put it down. Of course, in addition to your own, other people's good things, if you like, you will still buy them into your own book list and become your own private delicacy to enjoy.
"Interested reading" is a joy in life, so I don't care about my shallowness and share the 10 good books I have read in 2017 with my friends and friends:

1. "Newly edited Thousands of Poems" Yuan Xingpei Editor-in-chief Zhonghua Book Company June 1999
This is an absolute old book, but it is my desk book. I call this type of book "the book that travels through the long river of time." Every time I read it, I will have a new feeling. The reason I wanted to reread this book "Newly edited Thousands of Poems" was because I asked Mr. Yuan Xingpei for help in the past two years and had several contacts with him. Therefore, I wanted to know more about him, so I found out the editorial work of Mr. editor who had been sleeping on his bookshelf for many years and read it again, and found that he was addicted to poisoning.
Classical poetry, I like to read since I was a child; but when I was in college, I mistakenly entered the law, so I lost my love for classical poetry for many years. Later, when my work entered the field of publishing, I realized that my love for literature, poetry, and classical poetry was destined. After all, I have not received professional training in classical literature, so despite my favorites, I still belong to an amateur contestant, and choosing classical literature works is also an entry-level reading material. According to Mr. Yuan, the book "Newly Edited Thousands of Poems" edited by him, is "a very popular enlightenment book for children." Therefore, no matter how young I pretend to be young, I dare not pretend to be a child, but the level of appreciation of classical poetry is just right for children. I believe that there are many adult readers with a child-grade taste like me.
The book
contains 223 poems. In addition to some works that are familiar to the public, such as " Thoughts on the Night of Quiet Night" by Li Bai, "Spring Looks" by Du Fu, and "Hidden Grass by Bai Juyi" by , there are many poems and poets that are not actually known to the public, such as "Rain Through" by Zhou Zizhi, a poet of the Song Dynasty, I have never read it before.
In addition to the editor-in-chief of Mr. Yuan Xingpei, who is a master of contemporary Chinese studies, other annotators are also the first choice in the classical literature community. What I appreciate most is that every poem in the book is equipped with exquisite illustrations, and many of the illustrations are actually written by the comic strip master Mr. Dai Dunbang .

2. " Skin " Cai Chongda by Tianjin People's Publishing House December 2014
This book attracted my attention not because the author Cai Chongda is an accomplished senior media person - although I do have a preference for media people's writing; not because of the Han Han 's composition recommendation - although I still believe in Han Han's writing appreciation level; but because of a friend of the bookstore - Xu Chunyu, the founder of Yufeng Library, recommended to me. Chunyu told me, "This book is a book that you can't bear to put down if you pick it up." Yes. I really picked up this book "Skin Case" and finished reading it in one breath. The most touching thing is the maternal love written by Cai Chongda. This maternal love can tingle every numb or sensitive nerve in your body.
Of course, I cannot give unreserved praise to this book, but only with conservative praise. The reason for reservations is that I do not agree with the author's excessive praise of his mother's simple ideal of "successfulness". I just think it would be better if there were fewer people or abandon the idea of suffering for "face". After all, living with dignity and living with face are different.

3. "Last Weather Old Pavilion" Ye Guangqin by Beijing October Literature and Art Publishing House May 2016
The author of this book, Mr. Ye Guangqin, is an authentic Beijing Manchu writer. Her book "Last Weather Old Pavilion" is a novel that I like very much. The novel describes the sad life of a generation based on the author's life in old Beijing when he was a child (1950s). It's a pity to read. From this book, we can not only see the old capital legacy of Mr. Lao She - Lao She is also a Manchu; but I also read the style of Ms. Lin Haiyin "Old Things in the South of the City".

4. "The Beauty of Ruins" by Ye Tingfang, Haitian Publishing House September 2017
This book is a work of architectural aesthetics by contemporary scholar and German writer Ye Tingfang, who produced myself. Mr. Ye and I were connected with Kafka. When I was in charge of the Central Compilation and Translation Press, I once published the "Full Works of Kafka" (illustrated book) edited by Mr. Ye. Before, I met with Mr. Ye at a party invited by Professor Yu Keping (at that time, there were also Mr. Gui Xiaofeng, Yin Chengdong, , , Zi Zhongyun and Li Jingduan). After that, we have been in touch and friendship.
Mr. Ye is a great thoughtful master I respect very much. His achievements are not only in the fields of German literature research and translation, but also in the fields of public culture and literary creation. As an independent intellectual and a member of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, in the discussion of the National Grand Theater construction plan, and in the abolition of the one-child policy, Mr. Ye has played a major historical influence as an independent intellectual and a member of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference. Especially in the early days of reform and opening up, Mr. Ye proposed and advocated the idea of "ruin aesthetics" with his academic courage to "lead the trend of the times", and today it is being accepted by the government and more and more Chinese people.
"The Beauty of Ruins" is the crystallization of Mr. Ye's wisdom in exploring and thinking about architectural aesthetics over the past 30 years. I have watched it three times from beginning to end, and each time it has the effect of baptism of thought.

5. "Light Year" (first issue number) Dai Weina Editor-in-chief February 2017
This book can be said to be one of the works I cherish in my publishing career.
The origin of the incident was in April 2016, when I asked the young poet Dai Weina to have a coffee. Dai Weina once studied in Oxford and worked as a visiting scholar in Duke for a year; in addition, she is also a soccer player of the famous scholar Professor Sun Yu. More importantly, Weina is an influential poet among young people. Therefore, the idea of asking her to edit a magazine book (mook) that translates and introduces contemporary foreign poetry has been brewing in my heart for a long time. Unexpectedly, she was also very interested when she talked to Weina. So we just drank coffee once and finalized the editing and publishing of "Light Years".
On June 18, 2016, after Dadao Xingsi Media, co-founded by me and Shenzhen Publishing and Distribution Group, officially started its operation, the first Chinese mook edited by Dai Weina, focusing on translating and introducing contemporary foreign poetry, also began to enter the substantive operation stage. Weina mobilized the poet's good friends Chen Jiaping, Wang Dongdong and Jiang Ting to work together. Starting from the manuscript grouping, selecting manuscripts and reviewing, after nearly half a year of intense efforts, by the end of 2016, all the manuscripts of the first issue of "Light Year" were officially handed over to the editor-in-chief Wang Yuanyuan.
"Light Year" first issue, I and the editor-in-chief Yuanyuan jointly edited and processed. As the producer and first reader, I was very satisfied and surprised to see the creative and high-quality labor results of Dai Weina and her partners. The biggest feature of "Light Years" is that the poet translates poetry, and the translator team can be regarded as a super luxurious lineup. There are also famous celebrities such as Xichuan, Wang Jiaxin, Yang Lian, Wang Jianzhao, Gao Xing and Fu Hao, and there are also poetry elites from the younger generation of readers such as Dai Weina, Tang Jun, Wang Liqiu, Li Dong, Ming Di and Hai Rao.In addition, regarding the binding design of this book, we discussed with Weina, we specially invited young designer Ye Jin Hallevani from Shanghai to take on the overall design.
In February 2017, the first issue of "Light Year" was stunning. The book just went online to Amazon Bookstore and received a lot of praise. At the 6th Zhongkun International Poetry Awards Conference held on June 14, 2017, "Light Years" was recognized by senior poetry worlds such as Zheng Min, Xie Mian, and Tu'an .
"Light Years" first issue, which has collected a total of 18 most prestigious poets in 10 countries around the world. These include the poems written by the Palestinian poet Mahmoud Dalvesh, who has the most famous in the world poetry world and is the most popular among Chinese poetry lovers in the past two years, and the new work of Canadian female poet Gret Atwood.

6. "Anna in Russia: Biography of Anna Akhmatova" (English) by Eliin Feinstein Translation Translation Shanghai Translation Publishing House February 2013
I read this book intermittently for more than half a year. The reason for the time is second, and the more important thing is that I can't bear to finish reading it. I feel uncomfortable when I read almost every chapter. Anna Akhmatova is not only the Russian poetry moon (the Russian poetry sun is Pushkin), but also the goddess in the minds of many Chinese poetry lovers. It can be said that this book truly and completely describes Anna Akhmatova's ups and downs and sad life. According to the Book List, "Fenstein (the author) cleverly tells Akhmatova's poor and embarrassing life, and explains her entangled and painful emotional life. Akhmatova's affectionate works represent the entire suppressed country's voice."
My attention to the biography of Anna Akhmatova is also related to the Russian literary translator of our country, who just passed away not long ago. In January 2017, I presided over the publication of a collection of "Akhmatova's Poems and Essays: Gao Mang's Handwriting". Mr. Gao is the first translator to translate Akhmatova's works in China. During my contact with Mr. Gao, I listened to Mr. Translation and Introduction to Akhmatova with a "atonement mentality". That's because when Akhmatova was criticized and suppressed in the Soviet Union, Mr. Gao once translated articles criticizing Akhmatova; when he visited the Soviet Union, his husband met Akhmatova and did not dare to say hello to her, for fear of being implicated. After hearing Mr. Gao's introduction, although I had read some goddess poems, I didn't know much about her life.
So I bought this book "The Biography of Anna Akhmatova" written by Elien Feinstein online.

7. "Soushen Ji" Feng Tang by CITIC Publishing House August 2017
Feng Tang's novel, I have read "The Growth of Everything" before. For Feng's writing style, it can be considered a kind of favorite. But I bought 10 copies of this book while on a business trip in Guiyang, and I finished reading it in one breath on the plane back to Beijing. Although Feng's joking and humorous writing style is still preserved, the story is no longer attractive - at least it no longer attracts me. But it is okay to relieve boredom after reading it.

8. " has never had " Qingshan by Beijing October Literature and Art Publishing House June 2014
Among young writers, Annie Baby is one I continue to pay attention to. In fact, her works cannot be called novels, but only prose or essays. But even so, her book still has magnet magic in my opinion. "Get Not Been" is her first work after renamed "Qingshan". The name has been changed, and the story, content, writing style, and atmosphere have not been changed yet.

9. " My Wonderful Bookstore " (Germany) by Petra Hartlieb Translated by Wang Haitao China Friendship Publishing Company June 2017
This is a documentary novel written by bookstore people. Petra (the author), who grew up in Vienna, went to Vienna with her German husband Oliver on vacation and found a bookstore that had just closed down was auctioning. She and her husband actually won the bid in a game-like auction. So Petra quit her job in Hamburg, bid farewell to her leisurely and peaceful life, and came to Vienna to start her business in her bookstore.
This book is easy and easy to read so easily that it is like watching a movie and TV series. Although the story is plain, it is very interesting. Especially for a publisher like me who is full of affection for physical bookstores, although the scene in the book is far away in Vienna, it is not unfamiliar with it at all, and it is even as warm and intimate as what is happening around me.

10. " Sharing Economy Era" (US) Rachel Botsman, Lu Rogers, Tang Chaowen Translation Shanghai Jiaotong University Press June 2015
Although China today has entered the era of sharing economy, especially the popularity of shared bicycles and shared cars in cities, it has given us a more personal experience of the various conveniences of life brought to us by Internet technology. However, how to understand the characteristics of the sharing economy in the era and how to master the essence of the sharing economy, this book "The Era of Sharing Economy" can be said to be a good reading material with a brain-opening perspective.
In fact, the English version of this book was published in the United States in 2010, while the Chinese version was published in 2015. When the Chinese version of this book was published, China's sharing economy had not even emerged; while the United States not only had Airbnb, but also Uber. The subtitle of this book is "Coordinated Consumption Business Model under Internet Thinking", and the essence of sharing is "Coordinated Consumption". I have read the book
more than once. The reason why I like it is not only inspiring my thinking about the popular economic model nowadays, but also the planning and editor-in-chief of this book is my son. Although he no longer works in book publishing today, seeing the fruits of his labor still makes me feel relieved.
Lala La La La simple and meticulously wrote about the simple feelings of 10 books I read in 2017. Of course, there are far more than these 10 books that have passed by this year. However, most of the books I have turned over quickly disappeared, much like this fast-decaying era - new things quickly replace old things, and new things quickly become replaced by new things. But these 10 books seemed to have sunk in my heart, so I took this opportunity to share them with book friends and fellow friends.
